Just purchased a 2022 Street Glide Special. D&D exhaust was reccomended among some others. After watching your video multiple times, others and a ton of research, Im sold on the D&D Billet Cat with Big Bore Baffle. Additionally, to keep bike under warranty, will be adding a Screaming Eagle Stage ll with Torque Cam, SE Tuner, 64mm Throttle Body and a SE Extreme Ventilator Air Intake. Im not a gear head so had to ask allot of questions reference your set up and the one Im doing. Love the sound of yours, really hoping I will get the same results. Tks for the vid.
Hello, my new friend. It's a wonderful Harley Davidson video. Especially, the exhaust sound is strong and it gives me healing. I am glad to be your friend on a great channel. Have a nice day. 👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙👌
Man that sounds legit !! My 21 RG is at moonshine harley getting my 128 kit opened up and I'm going with the big boar. Good lord March can't get here soon enough 😫
Nice pipe for sure...Can I ask about the seat? I got the grip version and on my black and chrome Street Glide it comes off as charcoal, not dark enough to look right..Yours is on the money, really looks nice ..is that the leather version?
Did you make all of the changes at the same time? I am pondering going with the big bore baffle in my d&d as I start to build out to a stage 3 from Harley or a 124 from fuel moto with their new cams. My fear with the big bore is losing a bit on the low end with my HD stage 2 (torque cam) in my 107
Yes, Tim.. I did all the changes at the same time. Really I don’t think I lost much low end Tq at all. I made 129ftlb of Tq like at 2500 rpms I think that’s pretty good for just a stage 2 and a tune. I mainly did the big bore baffle just because I live in Houston Tx and you have to have a loud pipe to be heard. If I was you and you want something nice, go with the Fuel Moto stuff and their new RTX Jackpot pipe. Pipe is amazing! Perfect sound and perfectly made for the M8 engines
@@TheLive4God777 thanks for the detailed reply. I am at stage 2 right now with the standard baffle in my d&d. Traffic in the northern va area is brutal and while the standard baffle is loud, i think i can always be a bit more. Im also having the debate of going the HD stage 3 route with fuel motos new cam, or just take the plunge and go all in with fuel motos 124 kit. Appreciate the feedback. Stay safe out there
@@migueleueda4593 i would say yes, but you may lose a little low end grunt. Or the torque curve may move a little to the right. I noticed this happened on my stage 1 where i was using tab exhausts zombie baffles (2.5 inch baffle)
Hey Ivan....i have the same setup / cam with the standard louvered baffle...was told my bike would fall flat on its face with the big bore baffle unless i increased displacement. Did u just buy the baffle or did u have to replace the muffler? Thanks man
That’s not true. Look at how many people run HPI or thunderheader and they’re wide open just like this pipe. It’ll be a little soft around 2500 but when you get to 3k it’s making full power
Hey man I know this is a little late, but curious on what you did to get those saddle bags? Trade, because I know the specials come with stretched bags.
Stock motor aside from standard stage 2? Love the big bore but heard you lose some bottom end without upping the displacement/compression. If this is what you got with just a cam I’m sold.
@@TheLive4God777 i just bought the same exhaust this weekend at the panama city rally. i wanted the vortex baffle but all they had was the bb baffle. the dealer told me the performance difference was minimal but being told differently by others. i have some fuel moto inserts i might throw one in if it feels to soft on the bottom.
Just installed mine tonight. Sounds great but I got to say the finish on my exhaust is lacking in quality. It’s almost like krinkle paint out of a shaker can. The slightest contact with a tool and it would scratch through or chip.
How tall are you? Did you get the seat or the handle bar first? Is it comfortable? Just got my Road Glide S and I've been leaning towards those bars and seat aswell. Ride safe!
Freedom Rider I live in a heavy traffic area and commute pretty often. I would rather take a hit in performance for a louder pipe. But honestly I don’t see much of performance drop since the bike runs pretty strong and it’s loud as heck
The word "billet" is so abused. Billet aluminium this billet aluminium that. Billet simply means a slab or chunk.. So you can have a billet of butter, a billet of cheese, a billet of wood etc.
