I've been wondering about this, I have over 1k on the breather mod. I'll keep searching, but I'm sure EPA would want us to stop.

No problem 👍 with leg clearance compared to the Trask Air Filter. It's a great looking filter and it's around $300 bucks.

The stock 114 air breather is a Screamin Eagle Ventilator Air Breather. It's Harley's high flow air cleaner. I can't compare it to Harley's Heavy Breather, but the S&S performs better that the Ventilator Breather.

No need for tuning, both filters are high flow.

Just barely, I have scuff marks on the air breather from my jeans. A lot of ST owners have made the switch to this air breather.

Won't work with a S&S, or the stock ventilator 114 air breather. Check for spacers on your air cleaner breather ports, if you got em then they should work. Try using the zip ties like in my video.

I used the stock breather bolts, and you can use zip ties for a more secure fitting. You could order the breather bolts from H-D if you no longer have them.

Now, I am carefully going back n forth with your video upload n not seeing any holes plugged with parts or any kind of silicon in tiny holes on either sides of back plate. Cam you assist on this matter? If I am using stock breather bolts which hollow inside of bolt and open end at head of bolt like nipple to connect my hoses, and assuming not using SS breather bolts where it has hole already punched from SS and hollow inside of bolt, do I need to plug two tiny holes at backing plate? I do have a SS stealth mini tear drop air cleaner at the moment.

Get lowered cycles, you can also buy it on eBay via 3rd party. Only way to get stuff shipped to Cali. The air breather is actually 50 state, but it’s probably the new cover that needs certification 🤷

It's good on leg clearance, unless you're really hugging the tank with your knees. It performs just as good as my Trask Assault Air breather, and its half the price.

@@InfamousCreep Thank you!! I have Arlen Ness Monster sucker. The air filter and guard seems a lot larger. But most of the websites and videos never show a top view to see how far it sticks out. But the one on my bike definitely out far enough where it's in the way. Unless I hang my leg on the edge of the floor boards.

No, the stock breather bolts don't have ports, they only have one exit and that's through the top of the breather bolt.

I did it off camera, torque them down to 150ft lbs just incase 😉

I don't think they'll ship to California, they only ship 50-State. I don't remember where I got it from, but you could try eBay. I found someone who had it in stock and picked it up after waiting months on the major retail stores.

Let's agree to disagree 😄. I like the air breather, it's got a Shelby Cobra look to it. The S&S Stinger looks classic too, and it looks modern at the same time. The tear drop air breather has been around for a long time.
