@Rejoice in as much as a lot of people would support your motion of getting banned altogether in Zim especially given the fact that it's predominantly a Malawian culture,but the problem is that we as Zimbabweans have embraced the gure culture with our culture for a very long time and unfortunately it won't be easy to just ban them just like that and in a weird way it's like how he Americans have embraced their gun culture and it has come at a huge cost coz since they made it law that everyone has a right to bear arms but it sometimes ends up in the wrong hands and thus almost every week in America there's a shooting and to try and get on top of it now is kinda too late as there is also huge amounts of money to be made in dealing with ammunition and back to the Zim situation I don't think it would be easy to ban zvugure altogether but I think the Ministry of Arts and culture should come up with some sort of legislation that zvigure should not be allowed to pass through the streets on their way to a designated venue or arena at a particular time and those that enjoy that sort of entertainment should make their own way to those venues limiting the zvugure access to the greater public as not everyone is into that type of entertainment coz their regalia inotyisa even to some adults let alone young children.idk, just a thought and hopefully it could minimise such tragedies like the one that befell Maka.
Child could have had an undiognosided heart problem. Free post mortem won't show that.however I am a grown up man now but grew terrified about zvigure. We grew up hearing zvigure are out to kidnap you. Only now I know it's malawi culture. Remember my dad telling me to go have a bath coz I would be looking like chigure with dirt all over my legs. Honestly this is very painful. A young life taken in such a manner it's very heartbreaking may God comfort this family in such tragic moments in Jesus's mighty name Amen. May they find peace and healing for the bible say let the children come to me for the kingdom of heaven is theirs. May the government take certain messures in this so called gule cultures b4 we lost another life in this painful manner
