Thanks for the video! I had the same issue of black screen sometimes when I touched the screen in certain angles. I changed the display cable two times after still having the problem (but far less often) after the first display cable change. Now I still have the problem with my third display cable and I am really starting to get desperate. Any Ideas or experiences with this? Display works but then randomly shots off after I touch the macbook and goes on after tilting the screen. Sometimes I have to restart the macbook for the screen to work again. Thank you very much!!

Will you please help me on this? I followed these steps have not yet changes the cable, but just opened it to see if it could work, when i put it back i started hearing 3 beeps then pause for few seconds then 3 beeps and so on, and the screen now remains black before it used to be white, what does that mean? Thank you

Hello Joshua , there is a rectangular area in the middle of the screen of my 2015 MacBook Pro device, 6-7 cm wide and end-to-end. Colors can sometimes be normal and sometimes the opposite. There is no crash on the screen. Do you think the display cable can solve the problem?

Hi thanks for the video. A question, i have A1502, When i replaced my broken screen with a new one the white screen of death appears on boot up. And nothing i do would make it go away. When i put my old broken screen back then the mac works fine. What could be the issue? And how could i solve it?

Unfortunately, it's a bit hard for me to diagnose your macbook, when its not in front of me. I would suggest to double check your lvds (screen connectors) connections.

if you drop macbook and screen out( black) 99% problem with small black connector on right from main metal connector screen . Just doing everything like on this video and push with click small connector and you done . Then drop macbook pro this small connector jump out and we have black screen. Thanks for video .

What's the dimension of the T8 at @ 7:50, stripped mine but able to get it out? I'm trying to source one but my Google Fu is not sharp today.

Not sure on the dimensions of that T8 screw in particular. You might have to use old screw by cutting slot in the top, and re-securing with a 3mm flat screw driver. OR get an old broken A1502 macbook and steal the screw off that?

Hi, I found very interesting your video: I have a "similar" problem; my macbook started to have one only purple vertical line, more or less at the center of the screen. Sometimes, this line changes its colour, moving from purple to a sequence of colour similar to other pixels around the line. I didnt' "hit" the computer in anyway: according to you, the replacement of the cable could fix the problem? The laptop is very used, but it could still work well for my needs in next months...

@@lucianodeleon7962 at the end I left the purple line there...I put Windows on It and sometimes It disappears too, completely random

Unfortunately it is hard to diagnose a macbook, when not in front of me. You might have to take macbook to a repairer.

@@Repair2Renew I took it into someone and they said it was the display cable so the whole screen would have to be replaced for $900. I left it as was way too much.

@@kaitrenee6259I went in to Apple Store today as my screen cables see screwed somehow. I can see usual screen but it’s like constantly lots of flickering in the background and distortion etc. I was told that the display would need to be replaced and that this would cost £369 so now I’m looking for alternatives to try to try to get it to work

Для наших . Кто уронил макбук и перестал работать экран : Надо все сделать как тут показано но рядом с коннектором что подключает маткинборд и экран что он отсоединял, не трогайте его , рядом есть маленький черный прямоугольный коннектор который надо прижать чтоб он защелкнулся . С лева от основного металлического коннектора что подходит к экрану , выглядит как черный прямоугольный мягкая прокладка , маленькая , на самом деле это коннектор .. Все заработал мой макбук про а1502 в других маках возможно такая философия .
