The crankcase breather tube going into that connection piece needs to be removed, cut back a few inches to be sure the wave air does not get interrupted. Simple to do for you at home with a wrench and a sawzall. Just reinstall and it’s ready to go. The only downtime needed for your truck is when you swap out the intake pieces.
