I know a true Mack man when I see one and this guy is one; crank it start it don’t rev it let it build air and warm up by itself don’t hurry it and it’ll last a long long time
@@Iron_Duck and when you shut her down, let it idle for a few minutes to dissipate the heat, and that’s good for any motor. Those bits of very useful information came from people that financed their homes etc. snd need their expensive equipment to be ready to go at all times, and these are also the same people that can’t stand to see equipment being misused or abused ✌️🇺🇸
@@deborahchesser7375yep, cool down is as important as warm up when you've been working them hard. Seen a lot of engines that normally are extremely reliable, have all sorts of issues. You see how they're operated, you figure out why.
Man that is a pretty truck! You can probably count on your hands the r models left around that look even close to that good. I'd be afraid to put it to work
Drove one with a roll off bed on her from 1997-2015. Pretty reliable, nothing fancy, and underpowered. Our truck had 5.26 rears and she would be screaming at 2000rpm doing 65mph.
That really is a stunning example of the R model Mack. The wheels and stacks look unreal. What engine (Em 6 300maybe( and cab colour please as I'm colour blind. Looks dark blue/ grey to me. No air start on this one!
@@andrewking9761 the engine is a 350 macksidine with a turbo and blower, 8 double L macksitorque trans and I cannot recall exactly what the difference are
