Hey that's pretty neat thanks for showing altho I was lost on the Notts I'm new to sea fishing ,tho I reckon out of the wife's washing line I could make a quod zillion flies it's a long one lol Ant from Wales .
Hello Fella cannot believe it's been 5 years since I left a message something like 562 anyway been perfecting my feathers and I've found that if you keep them close together and shorter they work really well plus I've also been using chrome rainbow ribbon and that nails them too short strokes up n down to to much and bang catch every time still using your method to tie so thanks a lot and tight lines my friend
Found this really useful. Instead of throwing away bundles of old feather rigs and buying new everytime, I'm going to recycle them using your vid. Thanks for putting it up.
As a beginner to fishing, my 9yr old son and I found this fascinating and we would love to do it... but can you make a follow up video of your rod and line set up and how/where we attach this too a line?
Very nice video. I think ill try using these to make up Subiki (spelling) rigs for Sand Dab fishing. I used to purchase the throw away rigs then started making my own and they are too nice to simply toss. I have been using old white hand tied flys but these look both simple and nice.
+Vladimir Madrilejos hi Vladimir I got the washing line from a shop called pound land, it is the cheap plastic coated line that you hang your clothes on to dry
Sorry' I missed your display at the beginning of tutorial, that also is very helpful... am now one of your subscribers...really like the breakaway links I use them all the time..thanks again for the simple procedure that you provided
Great video , cheers , just the loud outburst of music at the end was a bit much , apart from that i have just made my 1st one just from watching your vid so a massive thx and ya got a new subby
Brilliant tutorial video, but the the clipped swivel at the end is an unnecessary exspence to hang a weight from ,you just require to tie a large overhand knot to do the same job.
+Gerald Swain I use a variety of weights and lures depending on the conditions and rod i am using, some times a plain 1oz lead, and a heavy spinning rod. Sometimes a dexter wedge or a Toby lure and a lighter outfit etc etc, the lead clip at the end means I can change them instantly. A swivel at the top of the rig reduces line twist on the retrieve 😉
+TheAudiostud thank you!! The music is called Parasail by Silent Partner. It is a free track in the RU-vid creators library. This is where I find all of the music for the videos I make.
