French President Emmanuel Macron hailed the relations between France and Sri Lanka during his brief but historic visit to the country yesterday (28/07/2023).
Macron become the first French President to undertake a visit to Sri Lanka.
The French President had talks with President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) focusing on a wide range of issues.

He came, He saw, and he left. Sri Lanka still grapples with its acute problems. Our "Appointed (not elected) President" is groping to find solutions, but President Macron has none.
