Payne’s Gray is one of my favorite colors. It’s so versatile; you can get so many different tones and it blends really well with a lot of colors.

Your videos not only teach me but really help with my anxiety. Your calm manner and the beautiful color combinations are so healing.

Just wanted to mention.... if you do a faster pull, you will get more of a ghost print and usually you still capture the primary print. Also, if you want to maintain the integrity of your initial "spread" (like with cardboard or your color shaper) and get more distinct color separation / marks - then a larger brayer will do that. If you want a more homogeneous blend, then the small brayer is perfect for that.

I have adapted some of the silicon tools that l use with my students on marbling pieces for their monoprints and monotypes. I have cut some of the teeth from the silicon basters so they can make a greater variety of parallel lines and circular shapes with more varied diameters. I also use a silicon large prong meat fork for large sweeping parallel marks. I purchased these from a kitchen store when they were on sale after summer barbecue season. I think you would like these great tools for expanding the range of mark making.

Yes you do use more paint than many other gelli plate artists but your results are very pleasing to the eye and exciting, awesome as you say in the USA! I appreciate very much your relaxed presentation and as a big jazz fan I very much enjoy the music.

I like that paint due to its coverage on foam. I used it almost exclusively during my MFA show prep.
