Brian Daboll told tyrod to not run the play but tyrod took it upon himself to run the play which ended in a clock run off . Daboll wanted the kick. Giants did not prove to be able to run the ball.

@@andreward8268 the play call was for the QB to determine whether it was a pass situation or run situation. When reading the defense he should’ve clearly realized it was a throw situation. He failed to do that.

I’m a giants fan and I don’t blame that play on Daboll, there is almost a run option on every play that is run on in todays NFL. Tyrod is the one who should know NOT TO CALL IT IN THAT SITUATION. He’s a veteran, idc that one was 100% on Tyrod

I think Daboll is overrated. These are the previous COTY winners: Brian Daboll, Mike Vrabel, Kevin Stefanski, John Harbaugh, Matt Nagy. There’s 2 good coaches in there. Winning COTY doesn’t make you a good coach, sustained winning makes you one. Also why do you throw the ball from the 1 yard line with Saquon Barkley in the backfield?
