i love designs in this movie. the did not tried to make realistic animals, but is so creative how they used shapes to make the models. I really like that, cause it fits so well and is like they made a 3D movie based in a child book and these were the way the artist made in paper

If you're interested in the penguins numerous and often insane exploits, I highly recommend looking up their nickelodeon show. Animation is a little dated but it's not bad, and the show is very entertaining. There's the penguins themselves, a psychotic animal control officer, insane inventions, a dolphin supervillain, and a ton more. Like, tip of the iceberg vs what's underwater more and then some. Not all of the episodes are great, but most are very entertaining imo. And, personally, I prefer this show to the movie. The penguins get some character development and the show even has some overall continuity. Plus Mort, Maurice and Julian are there too! I highly recommend this show, if you aren't interested in reacting to it on RU-vid, I still suggest you watch it on your own. I really think you would like it.

"This movie is a lot darker than I remember." PLEASE check out The Brave Little Toaster. If you grew up with that movie, this is the perfect time to revisit. I did, and I thought the movie was way darker than I remembered but my friends all say in taking it too seriously.

Dude I actually recommend watching Legend of the guardians owls of Ga'Hoole. It's an really underrated movie.

Another one of my childhood favorites! I used to watch it with Georgian dubbing (cause, little me didn't know English yet.) it was hilarious. They chose comedians as voice actors.

For those who don’t know, there is actually a musical stage adaption of this movie. There’s a full version and a junior version for younger actors. I enjoy doing the show. I was a NYC police officer, the ship captain ( yes, I did get karate chop by a penguin), and a fossa. 💙🧡💛💚
