Naruto is great but the amount of fillers lowers the quality of the show. Not saying all of them are bad. Some are good like Kakashi’s life from the third great ninja war to before Naruto and Sasuke graduate from the academy and Itachi’s life. Still remember it . When madara pulled up in the manga , everyone was freaked out . Had the same vibe as pain entry to konoha . The " no one is safe now mfs " vibe . And madara just casually killing 20/000 shinobis of garra's company was savage asf . And then comes the 5 kages , to get defeated 🙂 . And atop of that , when you don't know how the hell is he here or who the hell is that other dude with the cool mask or ... just added to the hype . Theories were going crazy . Those were the days 🔥🔥💯💯

That was kinda the point: it didn't matter what you did, there was nowhere you could run fast enough. That's why the only people who did anything, STAYED THERE and did it. Well, that and if you did outrun the meteor, once you got back to base camp, you'd have to greet everyone with the "I left all my comrades to die" face. And then Kakashi would give you his speech on being worse than scum.
