-... What..? What did you do? For what did you stop time, Jotaro-san? -I did it to sneeze. -You wasted time stop for that? Why? -What I could do with 2 seconds, that I did.
Honestly, Made in Heaven on a conceptual level was already an existential nightmare, but actually *_seeing_* it in motion is something entirely different, and makes it all the more terrifying
At first I was kinda disappointed at the reveal, but after seeing it a second time honestly they portrayed it very well. I was probably way too hyped up
I've waited atleast 3 years to see MIH finally get animated in all its glory, I am not even remotely close to being disappointed. The joy is immeasurable.
I know right? I was only kinda disappointed by how they portrayed C-Moon, he was kinda sluggish and moved in a goofy way, I wish they'd made him more terrifying like he is in the manga.
@@abrupta Honestly, I thought C-Moon was better in the anime than in the manga. I thought the animation was pretty good throughout C-Moon, and made the fight easier to follow imo
@@pebble312 Yeahh but it lacked the intimidation and fear the manga version gave, just taking a look at the first panel C-Moon appears in and comparing it to how they portrayed it in the anime kinda makes it clear.
@@abrupta i really disappointed how they overused diavolo time skip sfx in cmoon arc, especially pucci went into spaceshuttle that sound overusing was so massive
Omg that makes sense Whitesnake: Pucci's original stand thus the father C-moon: is the combination of a baby and the father (god), so c-moon is Jesus. Made in heaven: The holy spirit. The end of the holy trinity, and it is white like the dove that sat on Jesus' shoulder.
bit sadden to see made in heavens horse doesn't have the realistic eyes anymore like in the manga but his anime colors are beautiful and he sounds amazing regardless
Honestly, Made In Heaven and C-Moon are the scariest stands from JoJo's Original Universe. I watched many videos about how works the gravity and I realized that is more horrifying than I thought. There's no up, down, left, right or another direction where somebody could be safe, imagine, you could be on your house, cooking, reading, fixing something but instantly you're falling to the window, to the mirror, to the wall or sometime worst, your all stuff could fall to you. With Made In Heaven would be another history, you live in a normal day like always but, something's wrong, everything is changing, the food, the water, the house's structure, the lights from the candles or the spotlights, etc. All, from the whole world would be a damn madness
@Diavolo Jaegar nah man in manga tooru himself said the person who he even didn't met in his life would eventually pursuit by wonder of u because the calamity is the flow of universe no one can stop that even himself so if you're saying amnesia is the pursuit of calamity then you are right
@Saiyan Duck ger defends itself from the attacker made in heaven turns reality upside down its way scarier because it affects innocent people from the entire universe and the other will affect you only if you try to kill giorno
Honestly, the only reason they can handle Made in Heaven for quite some time was probably because Pucci himself cannot fully utilize the acceleration power. His brain simply can't catch up with it. It's another story if he's as capable as a Speedster.
Considering he can dodge punch barrages I'm pretty sure he perceives everything as going slow from his point of view, as for why he talks at normal speed despite clearly having his ability active... idk maybe he just talks really slow lol
Its because he was deciding how to kill the gang first. If he went in and attacked jotaro then annasui wouldve taken 80% of the attack and jotaro wouldve timestopped. Pucci’s 5 senses and reflexes were already enhanced lol.
It’s horrifying that when you consider Made In Heaven’s practical Godlike power, Araki himself has stated that even it is little to nothing in the face of Calamity…
Hypothetically speaking, wouldn’t Wonder of U existing technically be a “GOOD” thing for the overall world? Anyone who wanted to “pursue” any efforts of mass destruction or disruption that would happen to get him/it or their master mixed up would trigger the stand power, no? Technically speaking, wouldn’t the only thing that can conventionally harm anyone protected by the power of calamity be something with no living agency behind it? Like, as examples, a natural disaster, or a forgotten landmine they stepped on by mistake?
@@thelonelystankmuncher8879 Made in Heaven is one of the worst Stands to face Wonder of U. If Calamity affects Pucci in any way, Time Acceleration will speed up the effects.
@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire It's tough to say for sure since we don't really know much about Calamity just yet, but it seems that you'd need a Stand capable of just ignoring fate entirely to surpass it. The only Stands that we know can do so for sure are Gold Experience Requiem (which defied Epitaph's absolute prediction), Ball Breaker and Tusk Act 4 when its empowered by the infinite rotation (hence why Tusk could shrug off a time stop), and Soft & Wet's Go Beyond ability (which utilizes the near-zero existence of S&W's spinning bubbles to bypass Calamity) Made in Heaven though can't defy fate it seems. It can only speed up the natural processes of the world which would logically still obey the rules of fate, otherwise the Heaven plan of forcing everyone to acknowledge and accept their set-in-stone fate wouldn't be possible, and it probably wouldn't have folded to Weather Report if Made in Heaven was one of the above Stands. It's also a reoccurring motif amongst the villains in Jojo to want a Stand that lets them control fate so they can do whatever they want, but while The World, Bites the Dust, King Crimson, Made in Heaven, D4C Love Train, and even the Wonder of U can bend and manipulate fate to serve their own ends, fate ultimately gets the last laugh and favors just actions, which is why the protagonists of Jojo often get the power of fate that the villains so desperately want. Tl;DR Made in Heaven would probably fold to Wonder of U if Puuci decided he really didn't want Elvis in his new universe or something.
3:39 shows how fast it really is. Jotaro and Ermes both are not even moving as the stand itself sliced them so fast. They haven’t even realised they have been killed.
I won't even give you the chance to regret your death! Also, just imagine Pucci's speed right before the Universe Reset. Billions of years passed fast enough for everyone to survive without oxygen. Pucci was probably trillions times faster than an average person by that time.
God, 1:39 is so raw. Jolyne crying out desperately for her (seemingly dead) dad, the whirlwind of Made in Heaven’s speed, and the dominant choir in the background. Perfectly sells how overwhelmingly powerful this stand is
@@eclinvo4910 YES! YES! Very much yes! It's soo insane to think about how emotional i can get when it comes to Jojo. When i first started watching the anime (alone) i laughed when Ceaser died, cuz it was a meme. But when me and my homie was watching Jojo's all over again we broke down in tears. Araki was able to make a great story that still lives on.
Looking at Made in Heaven's ability- now I think about a different stand with teriffying possibility. Imagine a stand that let's you move so fast that you can pass through attoms of solid objects, not unlike speedsters from DC.
@@whitejester So, stand abilities are inspired by scientific facts that got turned to eleven (as you know)- atoms are mostly empty space so idea kinda was you slip between them because you move so fast. Know it's odd, and definitely made a bunch of nerd just get an aneurysm
@@whitejestercounter-intuitively, all solid you see and touch are over 99.9% vacuum, Its the force that is repelling you from getting through a solid, not because of the particles of the solid occupying spaces like how we would like to think of.
Seeing it in the anime really made me realise Jotaro never really had chance against MiH. For some reason reading at my own pace made it felt like Jotaro had more time to react, but seeing it animated really drives it home for me.
He did have a good chance, however, he couldn't grab it before it went out of control. He managed to stop Dio before latter could extend his time stop to unmanageable levels, but fighting while protecting something is way harder, especially when his trump card's abilities are known and were getting debuffed rapidly over time.
I don't understand why people are hating on Made in heaven's design, he looks perfect and i have no idea what they expected. Stone ocean is a masterpiece and probably my new favorite part.
Because some weirdos online think that a fan animation someone spent several months exclusively making is automatically better than a studio making 14 episodes and adapting a design.
Even Araki Sensei said in his interview there was no other maximum level of stand able to surpass time and space. One of the reasons he had to reset JoJo verse and bring SBR (S8) which not related to another JoJo before (S1-S6). Yes, Made In Heaven is so terrifying actually.
its why the strongest stands in the new universe are less because of their fighting ability, and more so because of how hax their metaphysical powers are
6:20 you can't say anything this is the best stand summoning on the entire anine currently edit: guys i meant visually ik king crimson is a better sound effect bruh
that's ironic because if you think about it Pucci and Dio are basically false prophets, one could be satan and the other the antichrist in a metaphorical sense
tbf the way puccis stand works is by only letting him move in the time acceleration, laws of physics like water resistance still apply albeit slightly faster for him
Kinda but not, he can put different things in different levels of relativity, the world it self is experiencing a level of acceleration while he himself is in another level while everyone one else isn't
No. It is confusing of how his ability works. But the only I know is that is his passive ability to accelerate time until to the fullest without himself affected by his own stand power. In his perspective its like normal but he can really see his surrounding got accelerated and disoriented fast
Okay so I assume that it works as everything else is sped up while he isn’t affected. So the world is still going fast but he’s still slow but he registers it as it still going fast
ngl made in heaven is my favorite stand but after the anime, seeing the characters fear, and the music makes me love the stand 10x more. Just seeing pucci running at light speed not knowing when he could attack is menacing and terrifying, the abilty, the look, hell the user, is perfect
How can people talk about stone ocean like it isn't one of the best parts. How do people hate it? Like COME ON PUCCI IS SUCH A GOOD VILLAIN He doesn't want to bring DIO back, he's picking up where DIO left off! Imagine what Made in Heaven could do in the hands of an immortal vampire! They're lucky that the stand was granted to someone who almost had "good" intentions for the world.
I love how Made in Heaven’s sound effects are random second long bass drops. It’s too short to notice what’s going on, but definitely long enough to know that it’s about to Jack you up.
Although Made in Heaven is a deadly stand, if you were to see everything happen in the real world, the time acceleration, the sun being a pure beam, etc would be the most terrifying thing you will see.
Hands down to the sfx, holyyy it just goes well that sound is unbelievably too swift and quiet this is due to being pucci accelerating too fast, by far one of the most if not terrifying stands out there able to fasten time and even reset everything. this ability is just too raw
I admit- when I first saw Made In Heaven, I thought that it looked ridiculous, but the more I looked at it, I began to really get the regal impression that they were going with this stand, and his abilities are downright jawdropping. Also, this stand also looks a bit like an angelic creature from the Bayonetta franchise, which gives it more plus points in my book! 😁
6:59 i love the detail of the plant rotting not because of time acceleration, but because of the high concentration of oxygen in the room because of Emporio. His plan was already in action
Man, seeing this in full motion knowing how it is in the manga made it all the more terrifying. Like shit! Everyone and Everything is affected! Imagine actually being one of those bystanders watching on in horror! Scary but amazingly done animation!
Not everyone, but everything else is affected. It is even stated that the acceleration does not affect living beings. Because he is increasing the graviational force of the entire universe (all planets in our solar system move faster around the sun, not just the earth). Thats why every known phenomenon is sped up. And I beleive MiH gives Pucci and ONLY Pucci a slowed perception of time, which is why he appears to move like the Flash. If his 'time' was really accelerated, he would be aging rapidly, since age is also affected by time.
@@soap.333 If you google time manipulation and you look for the superpower wiki, you will find that there is a lot more scary ‘applications’ of a superpower. Time acceleration is among the basic sub-powers of time manipulation, along with time stopping, deceleration (which we do not have in jojo) and reversal.
I'm so glad that the VFX for Made in Heaven is rainbow instead of just boring yellow. Yellow does fit the "heaven" theme, but the rainbow just looks cooler and more galactic.
Imagine you are an alien somewhere on a different planet and then one day time accelarates for no reason at all and you are like what the hell is this shit.
Its a bit ironic that Dio’s most loyal friend lost the same reason why Dio himself lost: They were both too powerful for their own good, and couldn’t help but play with their food.
It is explained, Annasui was protecting Jotaro and the others, if Pucci attacked one of them, Jotaro would have timestopped and killed him immediately. He had to first find a way to get around that strategy. Then, after the reset, when he goes against Emporio, MiH has very limited power since it technically hasn't been awakaned yet in that timeline.
@@Wyrser I’d also like to add that Pucci lost to Emporio BECAUSE he tried to kill him in prison. Emporio was fated to escape at Cape Canaveral, so Pucci trying to change that fate got him killed.
@@RandomDudeLolKABOOOM He probably meant about the stand name because the stand real name is "Made in Heaven"(reference to Queen song called Made in Heaven) it become Maiden Heaven due to localization.
@@moderndayentertainer.9516 To be fair, Anasui committed murder Ermes stole mony Weather liked his own sis 💀 Jotaro beat up the entire plot of part 3 Jolyne was jealus of some snails' ability to mate. That is enough reasoning
Loved the part where the Creation of Adam withered away. A perfect symbolism of Pucci not doing this for the Christian God he originally worshipped. This was for his new god. Dio.
Y'know, of all the enemy stands, MiH is one of those who can cause you nightmares. I ain't talking about the part where the whole world around you is changing, but imagine knowing that something so faster that you can only see his mere shadow, is trying to kill you. something so fast that it doesn't matter what you try to do, he can easily dodge it and sooner or later you'll be dead
So basically, Made In Heaven is a combination of the previous villains' time manipulating abilities on steroids: capable of looping time infinitely like Bites the Dust and accelerating time to the point of disorienting its foes similar to King Crimson. And from Pucci's point of view, he has The World's time stopping ability on constantly, since he is super fast and everyone else is slower than a snail. Ultimately, it's the perfect final Stand enemy for the original continuity.
i love that just like The World, Made in Heaven also has a ticking sound effect after he says the name, this time it's super accelerated and keeps getting faster
I like how no one considers that Pucci himself is the one dodging attacks and doing all the work and the stand itself is just chilling and given how both white snake and c moon were both faster than Pucci its very likely that Made in heaven is also faster than Pucci along with being stronger
from his perspective pucci just needs to move at "normal" speed, because his stand already synchronizes both his movements and its own to accelerated time
