You said that the north has Asian characteristics, the south has western characteristics. This proves you don't understand anything about Vietnam. Saigon and the southeastern region are the most developed places, especially when the Vietnam-China war ended and the Vietnamese government decided to invest in this area. Because it was far from the Chinese border, it was not attacked. Later, the Vietnamese government decided to invest throughout the country, especially the north. Up to now, the North has nearly caught up with the South and will overtake it soon. Remember that southern intellectuals all migrated from the north.

Isuzu Vietnam should consider manufacturing diesel three wheeler with tilt bin option for farming and taxi. Diesel engine with small generator(optional chest freezer on deck), electrical switching(home wall socket plug-in), integrated water irrigation-washing pump(optional jetski propulsion), air pneumatic cylinder and actuator(bins). Amphibious under engine power, sink when not moving.
Hi Eng Choon, if it's too complicated engine or electrical products, China will be more advanced, check this comparison between China and Vietnam in terms of R&D : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JInbceWnwdY.html
@@MoveToAsia the problems with advanced items is it ends up being unuseable with high costs to maintain. To vietnamese farmers, an engine from a diesel-generator charging(belt drive) a pneumatic air-compressor with 2 tanks, powering(electric drive) a water pump, a leaking-water positive bouyancy wooden boat concept applied to metal and plastic is within the skills of their average farmer maintaining farming equipment. Ocean Freight costs for full containers Vietnam to USA are comparable to freight costs from China to USA. Maybe you may find a 5-10% difference sometimes.

Haha. You know that many factories in Vietnam are owned by Chinese companies who have relocated to Vietnam? China has capital controls but they are encouraging their companies to move lower value added products overseas so they can switch over to higher value-added production. I am American, but I feel that America badmouthing China all the time is all sour grapes. If China is messing up so much, then we don’t need to worry about them - Let them mess up. The reality is that we worry about China because their policies work.
Thanks for the insight Richie. A new video coming soon about a recent textile and garments fair in HCM City, Vietnam. Lot of foreign companies (Chinese obviously) indeed.
