That's the problem they r having on federal hill little Italy Providence Rhode Island. Some rich kid in a Drop top Bentley was stuck up and shot in the ass and they robbed his Rolex and tons of money the Providence police r still investigating it. And the Santander Bank on At Wells avenue has an inside job and ex employee with codes to vault showed up with some goons with a tow away luggage and grabbed close to $500,000. They caught up to the people in East Providence in a hotel and recovered only $14,000 I believe which the corrupt cops probably grabbed the rest and put it in your pocket and lied if u want some real action move to at Wells avenue Providence Rhode Island we have the best restaurants in the country right now.

Joseph Anthony Colombo Sr. (June 16, 1923 - May 22, 1978) was the boss of the Colombo crime family, one of the Five Families of the American Mafia in New York City. Colombo was born in New York City, where his father was an early member of what was then the Profaci crime family. In 1961, the First Colombo War unfolded, instigated by the kidnapping of four high-ranking members in the Profaci family by Joe Gallo. Later that year, Gallo was imprisoned, and in 1962, family leader Joe Profaci died of cancer. In 1963, Bonanno crime family boss, Joseph Bonanno made plans with Joseph Magliocco to assassinate several rivals on The Commission. Magliocco gave the contract to one of his top hit men, Colombo, who revealed the plot to its targets. The Commission spared Magliocco's life but forced him into retirement, while Bonanno fled to Canada. As a reward for turning on his boss, Colombo was awarded the Profaci family. His only prison term would come in 1966, when Colombo was sentenced to 30 days in prison for contempt of court by refusing to answer questions from a grand jury about his financial affairs. In 1970, Colombo created the Italian-American Civil Rights League. Later that year, the first Italian Unity Day rally was held in Columbus Circle to protest the federal persecution of Italians. In 1971, Gallo was released from prison, and Colombo invited him to a peace meeting with an offering of $1,000, which Gallo refused, instigating the Second Colombo War. On June 28, 1971, Colombo was shot three times by Jerome Johnson at the second Italian Unity Day rally in Columbus Circle sponsored by the Italian-American Civil Rights League; Johnson was immediately killed by Colombo's bodyguards. Colombo was paralyzed from the shooting. On May 22, 1978, Colombo died of cardiac arrest. Source Wikipedia

How wonderful to hear someone speak about their father that way. I dont know if ive ever met anyone in my life who has so much respect and love for their father. Speaks volumes.

Grew up in an Italian neighborhood in the River Quay, every business on every corner was owned by Italians/Sicilians, that was the safest I ever felt was when I lived in that neighborhood as a kid.

When I was growing up these were the normal people and thought about the freedom they had compared to my dad working in a sweatshop his whole life. I'm Polish and all the uncles in the neighborhood were Italians. Always welcomed me into their houses. But there was a clear line. They always helped us. To that - respect that has lasted a lifetime. I knew they had a zest for life when they were growing banana trees in New Jersey.

These guys are the best storytellers, I could listen to him all day. And while he was I am sure a scary guy back in the day, he truly looks like the sweetest guy. I would love to meet him!

That was a really interesting show, good job Chris and good job Mark. Thank you both for a very entertaining morning. The one flashback quote that will stick with me: “We ain’t here to cause no trouble, we’re just here to do the Super Bowl shuffle” -- the ‘85 Bears made that music video way before MTV took off, never forget Ditka and the Fridge. Awesome just awesome.
