"Track that plays in the 1st phase of mission 13, when you have to destroy the bunkers." You sure you don't mean silos? edit: ok i just wanted to annoy u srry :)
For anyone interested, this song, Werewolf, and Sol Squadron were all played loudly over the speakers at Aviation Nation 2019 at Nellis Air Force Base last month. It was awesome hearing Ace Combat getting recognition for its epic music.
ビッグディックダチ Oh definitely. Especially since in game that part usually plays as I'm lining up for a run on another silo! They really timed the music well during the airshow.
@@phantomwraith1984 the entire planet is different. It's not called Earth at all. Strangereal is the name of the planet. But if I recall correctly the line OP said is from Assault Horizon which is a spin off that does take place on Earth. however I'm 7 there is a bit of a continuity error, your AWACS mentions an "Italian bistro" despite Italy not existing on Strangereal.
@@TexasGreed they still refer to their world as earth. If you really want to be pedantic about planet names then just as their earth is called Strangereal, our earth is called Terra.
@@phantomwraith1984 they don't call it Earth though? When did you hear that? They call it Strangereal. I'm not being pedantic or trying to be confrontational.
I'd like to point out an instance of really good design in this mission: the closest silo to the starting point is always real and has no anti-air defenses or nearby air units, giving you a chance to practice lining up the laser designator under no pressure.
Late, but they also ratchet up the difficulty nicely with a few defended silos and having the northeastern silo covered by a strong crosswind, challenging the player's control over their aircraft.
And then you run into that far off Silo that's away from the cluster of them... And it's surrounded by a fucking wind tunnel lol. Loved realizing that they messed with players minds like that. It's easy to convince yourself that silo isn't real because it's soooo far off and then you get there and it's just fuckin Guile breakdancing with your jet
At least it's pretty fun filler mission. The guiding pods are a nice twist on the old Reprisal/Time Limit formula, and you actually get targets to shoot at with your basic missiles. And no over-g exploding is nice too
@@Rigel_6 true, magic spear is much more fun than Reprisal... And as one of the comments said, I jammed with the tune to a First attempt S rank on this mission( I capped that Speedy Thicc MiG-31B after I got the F-15J)
Honestly, mission 5 felt like the filler mission to me. It's really just a retread of the first mission except with AWACS being a jerk to you and having to buzz around in circles for the first few minutes.
@@GabedalfTheWhite The X-02S isn't the fastest plane in the game, that title would go to the humble Mig-31 that you're trying to take down. It was built to be a high-speed interceptor and pretty much only that. The engines it packs are huge and it can reach speeds of mach 2.8, any faster and heating from air friction would start to break things. Give the Mig-31 a try. I built mine for speed and got the Ace and the IRBMs easily.
@@GabedalfTheWhite It should be doable in the X-02, I'm pretty sure that's how I did it. You just need to load it out fully with speed upgrades and just book it. If you're accurate and lucky, the ace can go down almost instantly.
For me this songs perfectly describes Trigger's personality. If Mihaly was considered to be cold and calculated like a predator, then Trigger is definitely wild and unpredictable that he is trigger happy. Like AC players he enjoys the thrill of flying, shooting missiles and guns, and hit every enemy he sees down. To add it up he is happy everytime he flies in the sky. Which I can interpret based on this song.
furthermore, mihaly, in being a figurative reflection of the player, and by extension trigger, must have also been like this in his own youth. In AC7 it is stated that mihaly is only truly happy while flying and the same could be said for nearly every ace combat protagonist.
@@securitybureauagent3714 Mihaly is a reflection of the player, and overtime you learn to understand him, maybe even respect him to a degree. He allows you to feel how the enemy feels when you're on the battlefield, and it ties in well with the theme of both sides coming together at the end to stop the drone war machine and end the war.
The theme of this song can be easily summarized in two lines from the actual mission: “This is a serious mission! Was it wiseman who gave this to Count?” “I’m like a wolf that’s been let off his leash!”
This soundtrack was such a jam! I'd actually rather have this piece playing for the first half of the Lighthouse mission, gets you really pumped up with all the big air battles happening around you.
The music is so perfect for this game. This theme plays just when you are winning the war and you are going to finally kick the crap outta your foes and have a fun time doing it!
Video game, and on occasion film soundtracks, tend to make life a hell of a lot more fun. Funny how I'm typing this while listening to this track while on a flight. Just makes it more enjoyable.
John Seed I didn’t pre-order it so I bought season pass last night Thanks to your information.😊 If possible,I’d like to get official sound track as a CD.i am very wating for it.
I know I'm late to the party.. But I guarantee NONE of you fellow pilots listening realized that violin interval is actually from the ISAF Briefing soundtrack.
I love Bunker buster because of this track. Find it to be quite a fun mission too regardless. Although this track makes it so much more fun to dip and dive into the valleys, directing the bombs to their targets, and dodging missiles all the same. Goddamn this game is a masterpiece
@@GIN.356.A I felt that the sky box, weather and overall atmosphere was beautiful. Though that's just my opinion. I do like rain and cloudy weather, so that's probably why I feel the way I do about it.👍
+Gin356a were you at high altitude the whole time? if so that's probably why you saw nothing but clouds, gotta get below 1000 meters where the real fun is.
@@alanpereyra5503 Yeah, they even synced the radio chatter to the music. You can find a translated set of tweets from the game director where he reveals this.
Barrel roll? I do one every time i loose a missile. ... Technically an aileron roll, as my controller refuses to let me do a perfect barrel roll, but close enough.
Caught in the middle of a conflict between the Pacific Federation and Cascadia, our protagonist is forced to put aside his fight with Jack Sparrow in Louisiana to conduct a second American Revolution and facilitate tax evasion.
A mission that kept me sweating bullets, epic soundtrack, and a throwback to previous a AC where you needed to shoot down a missile but cranked to 11, hell yeah the decade wait was totally worth!!!
In this mission, the first thing that your bombs target is an AA gun that's just under cloud cover. The feeling of coming in at mach 2 appearing out of the clouds and firing two missiles as this song picks up just makes you feel like such a badass.
This is my fave track from AC7. Like, fuck. The moment this song kicks in all I can think of is high speed aerial combat. My go to background when playing my F-4E in War Thunder
Fernando Estrada He says "Those who have played earlier AC games should find this soundtrack familiar. Guitar sounds like AC2 but also with some AC0 style remix thrown into. Just how I hear it though."
It seems every game in the series has at least one standout non-final boss track. AC1 - Head First AC2 - Fire Youngman AC3 - Transparent Blue AC4 - Comona AC5 - Supercircus AC0 - Mayhem ACX - Alect Squadron AC6 - Liberation of Gracemeria ACJA - Joint Assault ACAH - Gotta Stay Fly AC3D - Gravity ACI - Blue Skies Remix AC7 - Magic Spear
I played ace combat 7 around a month ago for the first time because i really like planes and im also really obsessed with war thunder, so i got the game and absolutely enjoyed the incredible soundtrack. i come here every day to listen to this masterpiece. this song has such a great vibe and raises my mood every time.
This is one of the only levels that gives the MiG-31 a place to shine. Especially the second half. Atrocious steering? I’ll just blow right past everyone and destroy IRCMs while I’m at it!
I had to listen to this song over the past two days trying to get the Ace Comet. Finally did it last night using MiG-31 with all speed upgrades. I think that's why the choose such a great track for this mission. They knew how much we would have to replay that mission :)
This is an interesting mission. One thing we all know about this is the difficulty of trying to get the proper location of the Missile Silo in the winds. Still, I like the difficulty although it's annoying. But I mean, did you expect the developers to make it THAT easy?
If I get it correct, it seems like this song is what Max0r used at the beginning of his incorrect summary of Ace Combat 7. Seriously, good track. I like it.
driving instructor: ok we are just going to take it easy no need to hurry Me: turns this music up *Car turns into Mig 31* Driving instructor: Pull up! Pull up! Caution terrain!
