The structure of this whole track reminds me a lot of the song "Library Menu" from the Yu Gi Oh! Forbidden Memories OST. Albeit less IDM. You're making the most legit demos of these synths/cards on RU-vid! If I hadn't read the description, I'd have thought most were actual demos from the cards themselves. Keep it up!
Hey there, thanks a lot! Forbidden Memories is actually one of my favorite soundtracks and you'll probably notice a lot of callbacks and similar arrangement sensibilities in the stuff I make. Great observation, I don't think anyone else has really picked up on that yet! 😄
@@channelsabored I get that one a lot but honestly had hardly been accquainted at all with their music until after I heard so many people say I sounded similar!! lol Really dig what I've heard though!
I have only ran into an active listing for the physical card once (as a set with Modern Masters and Sonics) and the price tag was a bit more than I could bite at that moment. I saved it to my watch list but someone else ended up grabbing it. In the meantime though, I had obtained the SysEx dumps for all three so dropping hundreds on the physical set felt a bit unnecessary at that point.
