This incredible old farm dates back to the early 1800’s. Built for a modest Quaker family the original front stone section of the house dates back to around 1810-1820. Sometime in the mid 1800’s the house was enlarged for a growing family and given a large 2 story brick wing on the back. This farm featured almost all of it’s original outbuildings including a two story brick summer kitchen behind the house. As well as the original outhouse and a very deep underground root cellar beside the house. Never seen one built so far deep underground before so was really neat. This farm was like a time capsule of life in the 1800’s and would make for an awesome museum if it was saved. Loved all the original outbuildings of this place. The second stone house I show was also likely built in the early too mid 1800’s but I was unable too find much information as the house, has been vacant for many decades now. Unfortunately both these old places don’t have very bright looking futures and will most likely end up being torn down sadly. Thank you for watching
