Magpul is a pretty reputable company and it seems that they would stand behind their products. You should have sent the stock back to them, I bet they would have fixed or replaced it. The Zhukov on my PSAK mounted up fine and has not given me any problems.
I'll be making a video on the yugo fit zhukovs because i was very pleased with the one in the m90. It's fitment into the receiver is superior. Stay tuned
This was not a good review. We’ll start with the amount of movement you create with the camera, excessive to say the least. Get a camera holder brother. You say the Zhukov stock won’t hold as well as the original wood but the wood is only held by two screws too. With the Zhukov you get the two screws and the wedge. You could “stamp” or run over the wood and that would break too. You stripped the screws, they don’t strip before their specs. This is a biased and unfair review for the Zhukov stock.
You’re right, I bet James Camron or Christopher Nolan can swing on by and lend him a camera team to film a free video you’ve watched and contributed nothing to.
@@jeremiahcherry5283 I think your parents raised a little sensitive bitch, you took what I said to heart and got all up in your feelings. Take a step back and try to look at this from a constructive criticism standpoint and you’ll see I was actually trying to help you. If you don’t want critiques or criticisms, turn your comments off.
Mine came loose after 2 range sessions not more than 200 rounds , I’m not confident it the design anymore heard others coming loose on them twice I’m going back too traditional stock prolly won’t be able get my money back I don’t have the original box it came in
Yeh sorry man. I've found that the yugo one works fine, but it's because that one attaches like a normal YUGO stock. Not some wedge bullshit. Try the bonesteel one.
Cant buy a expensive stock and put it on a cheap ak lol besides wasr 10s arent known for their tight tolerances no ak is but they dont wobble like you say they do. I used one on a psak gf3 and it was crisp and clean idk if it's just because it was tighter on the gf3 because it comes factory installed or just a better gun than a wasr
No. The stock comes loose and has to tighten with a wedge. Those screws broke under the spec torque. It is a way worse design than the Arsenal ak poly stock. Moe AKM handguard is great however. You like your gf3?
No American made ak is better than the Wasr. The materials on the Rom gun are far superior to the stuff PSA uses. Trust me. I build the guns. There is a vast gulf in quality, from barrels to trunnions. It is a stark difference. But PSA makes pretty good ar15s.
@@Leman.Russ.6thLegion ya and their aks too, have you ever used a zhukov stock on a gf3? Not a jab at your experience but they have a sturdy stock like I said idk if it's just the ones I've used but I didnt havr any wiggle issues and it seemed pretty solid
@@shootingforsoup9864 I believe they actually have a different sized receiver. I'm sure if you disassembled your Moe for zhukov stock, and loosen the wedge block you would find it actually Wiggles side to side pretty hard. The sock is just made to fit a bunch of different kinds of AKs. Have you shot your GF three?
@@Leman.Russ.6thLegion damn, that is a really nice handgun, I like da/sa. I recently just bought a used sig... Love it. About the stock... I haven't seen a review on it, only pics and it seemed cheap... But since you say it's your favorite then it must be good. I actually do not own an ak yet btw... Kinda tied between a beautiful wooden 7.62x39 with that slant muzzle break as a toy... Or a 5.56/223 ak as my "tactical" all the features rifle.
I'm not being mean here man, but you strike me as the hands on type to a point. This would've been the point to take it to a gunsmith. My Zhukov is a great stock, but it's one of those things where you need to customize the fitment
Aluminium can cut with scissors will make a very secure and rubust shim for either side of your stock. And if you can't tighten bolts like that by feel then you shouldn't be gunsmithing. And akoperators union has proven the stability is more than enough for hard use. Iv seen these in combat zones, that's also proof enough....
@@Leman.Russ.6thLegion well I have several magpul stocks, and none specifically request the use of a torque wrench when fitting, maybe you need glasses too who knows... And looking at the rest of the comments I'm not the only one who sees through your crap. Good luck ruining whatever else you buy in the future 👍🏻
@@randomguy6079 Well he'd also be wrong about how durable this stock is, sure run it over and it will break but watch AK operator's union video on the zhukov durability he actually tests it and it's way more durable than what is stated in this video. Also he's complaining about this being universial and not hopelessly complicated with different models like the MPul MOE handguard. Not saying he's not knowledgable but he's making some disputable points.
You’re missing the point. Yes its not a good thing that it will break. You fix it by not removing the folding ability but my making a quality stock. Like every other folding AK stock.
