Xuv 300 is very good package in case of driveability and raod handling. It is the car for driver inthausist who want a peppy engine performance as well. This automatic transmission is also intelligent well to drive the car in peppy manage and it will make happy to the person too who can drive the car in relax maner. This is the car which loaded with all safety package and comfort and convince package too. Some the very good class leading function which you never get in this compact SUV segment. As because of these all features it will cost little more on pocket but if some want all features like, Sunroof, front parking sencer, Heated ORVM, auto dimming IRVM, and lots of more in one car in this catagary no one other company gives this to you.

Great review which is missing in other reviews. Can you please tell us 1) what speed it will reach before shifting to 2 gear, if you use normal throttle. Im asking this as can I shift to second gear at 10km/hr speed, whatever maybe the rpm. 2) if I use completely manual, can we change to 2nd gear at 1500 rpm.

Excellent review. You have covered most important aspect , that is, at what RPM the car upshifts under three different scenarios. Now, I request you to give us, just for comparison's sake, at what RPM would Creta diesel AT change gears under three similar scenarios? It will help people decide which is better? Ideally it should upshift at around 1300-1400 rpm, in which case engine noise will be minimal and also fuel efficiency would be highest. Of course drive would be sedate but that is ok for in-city driving.

This car has potential to lead the segment but for 2 things.. 1. Boot is very disappointing. 2. Price could be slightly competitive.
