Hi Maia I love that your Dad coloured with you :) My Dad doesn't colour with me but recently my parents went on a Holiday to the US... he bought me home 4 colouring books as a surprise, I actually cried ,I thought it was so thoughtful. Sometimes I don't think they are interested in my colouring but it is so nice to know they support what I do. I love your updates!! ❤

I think these videos are so helpful & I'm really learning alot! The finished pages are always so gorgeous but it's hard for me to comprehend all the different steps & supplies you use & how you use them! These videos really end up teaching me alot because I get to see your process & your work at all different stages. Even the little snippets are so helpful! Thanks for sharing!

I love that you can share coloring with your dad! It was something my mom really enjoyed and I’m sad to say its something I didn’t get into until after she passed.

Of course, now I need to see a picture of your Dad’s completed page 😏❤ I went to Marshall’s this part Christmas. I was in the checkout line which was taking forever - late December shopping for my sister. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, I looked down and saw this huge box of markers in a plastic carrying case. The set turned out to be a Kingart Pro Double-ended Alcohol markers. When I picked them up, I thought they were water markers. The Kingart website carried them for $119.00, plus tax, and shipping. That’s $128.82 with tax. No idea how much shipping would be. The set at Marshall’s was $49.99. I walked out without it because I’d never spent that much money on ONE item for my coloring. When I got to the car, I told my sister about it. I also checked online to see how much of a deal I just walked out on. My sister was like “go back and get them because they won’t be there the next time you go look for them.” Dude, she was right! I saw 2 separate sets of these markers when I was in line. When I went back in, I got one set, and a family with an 8 year old bought the other box. So just like that, the store was out of them! They have a chisel tip on one side and a bullet nib on the other. They color beautifully! ❤ I never even considered checking this store (or Ross) for art supplies! 😱 I’m sure that T.J. Max must have some good stuff too. 😏

So cool to see your dad color! no wonder you are so artistic with both parents doing art. Your dad's art is beautiful. your new craft room looks like its going to be awesome. I always go to Ross and do a bee line right to the art supplies, and yeah, maybe a quarter of the time you can find great name brand buys. Anyway, I always look forward to all your wonderful videos and positivity ❤

I love to see how you work, I have started working in a similar way in my colouring books, doing a bit of one page and then a bit of another page and am enjoying it, thanks for the tip!

I ❤️your Dad’s Art!!!! And him doing a color page. Let us know what his thoughts were doing it. Was it relaxing, therapeutic etc because painting in my opinion is more free flow and detail attention is not as strict is what I found between the two. Coloring a page is more therapeutic for me. Moving sounds exciting to me, new studio, new energies, love it. It was nice to see your dad coloring the gifted book and he's paintings on the wall. You helped me to realize that's okay to have wip pages and now I have a few. You're a good hunter, those Arteza markers was a find. I've been creating some journals and binding a few books lately, I must transform the piles of pretty papers in something useful. But I'm already missing my pencils ! I have the arteza everblend ultra alcohol markers and love them but the website in the UK seems to never have them in stock 😢

Great video as always. It was lovely to see your dad colouring. Those Arteza markers look gorgeous. Can't find the waterbased Ever blends in the UK, only the alcohol ones. Just so you know i sent you a message on Instagram 5 or 6 days ago to let you know about a colouring book thats coming out that i think you'll want. It will only let me send you 1 message though because we haven't spoken on there before. But as soon as you reply i can send you a picture of the book ❤
