Imagine: Super Mario Odyssey 2, chaos has been once again brought to the world that could threaten everyone's very existence, and so Mario and gang travel to Yoshi's Island to seek out their old dinosaur pal for help on their journey to set back everything to the way it was, and when they arrive and find themselves under the shade of the jungle canopy searching cautiously through the foliage on a hot summer day, this is playing. Imagination is a powerful and passionate tool.
I cannot believe someone else loved this theme as much as me to reimagine it. Ive been searching for something like this forever. Im a fan of the same taste
You know what, I now want a fully remade Yoshi's Island. The original game remade as if it were made on the switch first. I'd love it more than anything and my nostalgia demands it.
I would love it if they remade it using that same crayon hand painted artstyle, except not limited with graphics. I also want the remake to be like Wario Land Shake it's style, hand drawn.
I really love this, and especially at 0:38 with that subtle light xylophone/glockenspiel playing (whatever it is). This piece is enough to brighten up any day.
You sir, have the ears and vision to bring back these oldies to life! I like to think these songs continue to grow old with us as long as we have people like you transcribing them over to more of a live-orchestrated setting. It is different but light on the ears. It's not overdone and best of all, the nostalgia is still there! This is how songs should be reimagined! WELL DONE!
Aw, man. THAT was a beautiful arrangement of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games. BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for this. It made me feel like I was in a hammock on the island. And the game already was so immersive!!
Pure quality! I really enjoyed and I was remounted to my childhood when I stayed on the main screen while I enjoyed the incredible Yoshi's Island song!
Man, I was just on edge waiting for the bass (guitar) to drop. You strung me on for 2 min! Excellent work man, you're hitting my nostalgia button and my cool music button all at once. :D
Almost sounds like some Spyro and DK instrumentation got mixed into this... which are BOTH as or more highly nostalgic for me as Yoshi's Island itself!
It's sad that such great music has so little attention, this is really excellent! And you also stretch the meaning and definition of "remix". Just wondering, do you have another awesome recreation cooking in the oven? I hope it's hot (Like 345 degrees).
I was wondering, what theme could you possibly arrange, I told my self, could it be main theme? and now you surpirse me with just that, my mother really liked it when i was a child.
Very tasty! Love the synth solo 2 minutes in. Then it gets a little repetitive perhaps, despite a good effort at changing things up. But, tastes and all. :)
I really love this music. Sadly, it looks like the website for donating and downloading isn't up anymore. Do you possibly do commissioned work or have another site through which you can accept donations?
Advice: treat your digital as if they were real players. Your flautist is dead from asphyxiation after playing 23 seconds a full blow without taking one breath.
I have kinda mixed feelings about this suggestion. I mean, on the one hand I get how that could be annoying to people who know how to play a flute. But on the other hand, part of the magic of electronic music is that you can create things that can't be replicated with real instruments. Would you also tell The Beatles not to back-mask the instruments on Tomorrow Never Knows simply because that can't be replicated live?
