When I was young, mom and dad called these a hobo dinner. Hamburger, potatoes, onion, and green beans. Loved them!!!!!!

Parents need to hold back on rushing to the rescue on every little thing especially for newly weds. What seems like a kind gesture actually takes away their power of self sufficiency. The two need to start depending on their own resiliency to approach problems. Cut the apron strings! This recent action may enable them to become dependent and screw with their identity as a couple. Don't be a "Helicopter" parent.

Wow! I am so glad they finally came up with a true outdoor camera. Only thing better would be a solar charger. But you can bet that I’ll be adding these to my SimpliSafe system. I’ve had my system over three years with no problems. 👍

My first car was a 1968 VW Convertible Bug which was originally yellow but I repainted it after a couple of years to the same color of Hannah's car. Drove it for 8 years. Everyone liked the color. Good luck with your new, undented vehicle Hannah!

Thanks - this video and the comments helped to confirm what I have found out about SimpliSafe. We just dropped our security company and ordered a SimpliSafe system with one outside camera, but will probably add another one once the system is installed.

I feel for your car situation, my wife's Grand Cherokee is in the body shop because someone hit it in the parking lot where she works and drove off without ever notifying her and my new truck is in the shop getting a snow plow put on, so we are sharing my Toyota 4Runner I usually commute to work in. The bonus is it gave me an excuse to ride my Harley into work on a couple of nice days this week!

We used those foil meals for the Boy Scout Second Class "cooking without utensils" requirement back in the '60s. I've used them in the fireplace during power outages. The possibilities are endless. Greetings to the Hunt Man from the piedmont of Georgia.

Hey Melissa I love the campfire recipe!! Made one change just for something different. I tried it using Kikoman Teriyaki glaze. It turned out absolutely delicious and everyone loved it. Give it a try. Also added a little bit of chopped celery. Y'all be safe and see you on the next video.

Mike, I recently installed a system thank you it works great and was so easy to install. Simply safe needs to fix there web purchase app but the product is great. I called customer service to complete the order.

Good video. I love the foil dinners. We used to cook them when we took the boys from church camping, they were so good and the boys loved them. Thanks for featuring the new SimpliSafe camera. We have a SimpliSafe system and love it. I received an email when this camera came out and wondered how well it worked. I want to add outdoor cameras but was waiting for them to release the wireless camera. Hope you can do an update on the wireless cameras in a future video.

Some days are good trading days and some aren't. Think you hit a aren't day. [think you will get your truck back after this?] Like that security camera, what frequency does it work on? 2.5 gig or 5.o gig? Tried one and it would Not work with my 5.0 WiFi system. Like the clarity of the field of vision on it, fantastic. All the best of luck with it - for all you have there you need a security system. Have a great day and a better tomorrow.

Good morning all! Starting our second day of rain here - just light mist so far. When it clears out later today, we’ll have about 50F(10C) for lows and 70sF(20-25C) for highs for a couple of weeks. That will be just fine. I’ve been trying to figure out how to rig a camera system at the farm. I’d have to get HughesNet or StarLink for an ISP and then some campus-level Mesh with wired backhaul to get outside the metal buildings. Wouldn’t be free but would make me feel a lot better to have live cameras and 2-way audio.

Down in East Tennessee we call the foil dinners "Hobo Dinners". They are great, everyone loves them. Had them at 4-H camp and at home. My wife would sometimes cook them in the winter in the oven. Thanks for sharing. Got to get something to eat now.

That magnet/mount design for infinite positioning is a genius idea. I have the ReoLink cameras out in areas that do not have wifi access and love the idea of this mount, as long as they are in an area that someone couldn't just grab it and go I guess

Just another tool to keep everyone safe at the Morgan compound. Glad Hunter is doing better. Mike if that back bumper is just the plastic pushed in, boil a pan of water and pour that on the bumper to soften it up and then push it out with the handle of a hammered. Works every time.

I've done the foil dinner with fish with a little butter and lemon, then make home fries the same way but open the foil the last few minutes for it to crisp up by letting the steam out

When I was a Scout leader our boys made "hobo meals" similar to your foil meals. We would use hamburger patties, sliced onions sliced carrots and sliced potatoes...seasoned to taste. Put them in the coals then cover them with a shovel full of coals. Cook for 20 minutes and the best meal you ever had!!!
