Major Update: The Farm Bill Loophole is Closing - What It Means for Cannabis 

As a younger man I used to look at everything as wow that would make a nice bong. 30years later looking at property like wow that'll make a nice grow room.

This means everyone who enjoys cannabis freedom must call their US senators and encourage them to sign on to Senate bill CAOA that legalizes cannabis at the federal level ! Do it now !

In other words, you give the government an inch, and they will take a mile you let them take this and next will be the homegrowers rights

I get the idea, but advocating for more prohibition on plants and what people make with them is crazy. Up until legalization all the pot that you ever smoked was "shady" like you guys are calling this. Decriminalizate it all. Hemp and cannabis should be completely Decriminalized and legalized completely

if I don't know who grows it I'm not smoking it.

That leaves us here in prohibition land without access again… my question is will this change the legality of seeds?

For someone who loves in an illegal state and delta 8 being the only reliable source for consistent weed, this sucks for me

This is horrible even if it is not that pure it is still just an herb. Here in Indiana I just bought some THCa flower it wont get you much of a buzz has a good flavor. But for a lot of people that cannot get legal cannabis or even basic Hemp flower. Lots of places like Greenfield, IN wont event let stores sell legal hemp. Without shutting down the stores the police threaten them. So this is a form of freedom and having government involvement on a herb still seams ridiculous to me. But this is a super big fail for Freedom and another setback to progress. What helps someone may not help you but doesn't mean it is not valuable. Let the free market determine things. I swear the free market is no longer a thing.

Means nothing if you are in a legal state. If you aren't it just means you have a lot of work to do.

In the Farm Bill based on the verbiage of the text states that Delta 9 THC specifically is the constituant that is illegal and it specifically calls out Cannabis Sativa. A plant at the time of harvest there is no Delta 9 THC in the plant. The only time Delta 9 shows up is after decarboxilation occurs by applying a catalyst/heat to the flower. So according to the law the plant only becomes illegal in the process of smoking or decarbing the flower. To me it is like the laws about bootleg liquor. You are allowed to possess it, you're allowed to possess the still but it only becomes illegal if they catch you in the process of operating the still and distilling the mash. The DEA also has published a document in regard to cannibis seeds as well staying that they can't do anything about the seed because is has no illegal constituants in them so people can have them ship them and sell them. Something to think about....

I was recently in Georgia and popped into a pharmacy. They had delta 8 gummy displays all over the counters. Looked like a middle eastern gas station. Georgia is full of delta 8. May as well just legalize

And another thing we should all be allowed to grow things and do business as we see fit. This is bullshit hemp is a plant canna is a plant they're both the same plant. They both do the same things.. one aka pure hemp is a weaker thca concentration but with higher thca concentration would mean normal weed ya dig..

Ive gotten Cbd and Delta 8 flower from smoke shops, that had straight up Mold.. that stuff shouldn't be allowed, THC-A Is Great tho from good sources online. Literally just normal smoke. I hope that dosnt get wrapped up in this. The farm bill of 2018 I think started that market

Worked at a dispensary here in Missouri and some people literally don't understand the difference even if you explain it in detail. And complain about dispensary prices being worse than these fake shops. It's insane, grow stores are even selling actual weed here and mushrooms and nothings been done lol

I live in Connecticut in a town with ten head shops all of them sell marijuana under the table and use Delta 8 as a front there's only two places in my town that illegally sell marijuana for the state I'm guilty I go to these head shops and buy marijuana and they put it on my debit card as a vape pen or whatever which is not good but I do it and most of the people do because it's cheaper at these vape shops and a quality is just as good too The legal places to buy weed charge too much in taxes so it's better to go buy it at the vape shop and they'll put it on your debit as a vape pen and you don't pay taxes screw Connecticut I guess

Well to me not much. There is too much money in it though. All the convenience stores, all the head shops, and other places in Texas generate so much money and tax from the "grey" market. We even have head shop vans that drive around and deliver sprayed hemp products. Over half the states being legal most of the grey market is selling to TX and states that lag behind. Do they favor the black market in illegal states, yep, it brings in more fines and fees so because of pharmaceuticals, ethanol, and for-profit prisons lobbyists keep it black market here. If you care about taste here, do not get the grey market stuff. It tastes like already extracted weed with terps and THCA sprayed back on it. 10% of the flavor, with 50% of the high.

I'm glad too my sister is a lawyer that loves to toke but lives in north Carolina and that's all she has access too is the delta products told her I would send her some of my home grown in the mail she too scared lol make weed accessible for everyone for crying out loud

Its not a loophole, it is exactly what they intended when they made the 2018 farm bill, there is all kind of scientific and chemistry jargan in the bill. Its not like they accidently did it. I've seen people on a fb group I follow talk about how the flower and vapes and extracts from the smoke shops are better then the flower at most dispos and alot of people kept agreeing not sure if that's everywhere

I grew a CBD and for sure when you put love and care they do have a medical value I had a car reck when I was 21 I'm 38 now and after a shit ton of big pharma bullcrap I found a home grown CBD cultivar is the way to go my pain levels are by far down .we don't need big pharma meds it's all about the cannabis THC and CBD .I really love the show and everyone on here keep up the good work it means way more then people even realize

An old guy (no name) told me of a process using plain old isopropyl alcohol, called "solehexing" , not sure if I spelled that right, but it involved slow stewing the cannabis in the iso, partially covered... Using a double boiler of course. The iso would condense back down into the pot, but the mix would polymerize(?) the CBD onto/into(?) thc. I don't recall the whole explanation, and rarely make oil, so cannot say for certain if the process works.

Question for the DGC about dog pee. I am a dog walker and constantly see signs saying no dogs please it kills our plants , and when I researched it all I could find is that dog pee is highly alkaline and raises the PH of the soil. In theory wouldn’t a strong microbe population be able to regulate the PH no mater what ? Is there is a time release product that lowers PH over time ? Could recharge end the conflict between dog lovers and gardeners? Thanks for all the great content

I've been growing for a couple of years now but I never knew what & why i did stuff because I was lucky and found a new friend who taught me how to grow good weed and he told me what to do / when I had to do it. I grow in soil and I use 4-5 gallons Air Pots. I used advanced nutrients up until a couple of month ago but after watching your show I changed to Canna and less nutrients (Yes, I fell in the Nutrient Pitfall thanks to good advertising from the nutrient companies). Just got a better setup too (thanks to your videos); 4x8 Flower (6 plants in week 1 - Gorilla - Gorilla Zkittles - Space Cookie) 4x4 Flower (3 plants in week 5 - Lethal Cookie - Lemon Garlic OG - Copenhagen Kush) 2,6x2,6 Flower (1 Plant in week 5 - Lethal Cookie) 3,2x3,2 Veg (clones & small plants up to 1 gallon pots) Started this setup around 5 weeks ago so now my goal is to harvest every 4-6 week. And today I made my first Co2 generators so I'm excited to see if I've done it right so i can get more yield because the quality now is really good :)
