I've made a few dovetail infill planes after watching your videos and I always seemed to have a problem with the parts trying to separate when I peen them together. But everyone I see you build one I want to make another one. Very inspiring work. I hope to get it right one day. This is a beauty for sure. Thank you for sharing
My father in-law would be amazed at how a woodworker works with metal. He was a metal worker/machinist and I don't think he would ever consider using dovetail joinery to join flat metal parts together! Fantastic work.
Great video. Really appreciate the extra time you take in editing to put your content on a higher level than "let's just turn the camera on in the shop"

Your work is wonderful to watch, thank you so much for sharing this with us! I have two questions, if you don’t mind. 1. Why did you choose steel instead of brass for the bottom? 2. What type of wood do you use? Again, thanks for sharing this. Your work, and what you make, is very beautiful.
Wow! You build such beautiful Planes. Beautiful work. The care and the detail is phenomenal. I truly enjoy watching you work. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to seeing what you do next.
OMG that is just BEAUTIFUL forgive my ignorance can I ask you When sawing the dovetails by hand do you saw to the line Like you would when doing the same in wood Or Saw leaving just a little to file to the line. I’m guessing that having just a tiny gap is good then it peens, closing the gap and fixing the 2 metals together I am in awe of your work, just amazing.
