Ever wonder how many different spider people there are? Yeah, me too… We’re not answering that question today, but we ARE answering the question of “how cute and cuddly can a Spider Gwen get?!” And I think we’ve just about cracked the code to just that!
In this video we’ll be drawing up concept art to design our very own spider gwen bear, prototyping to be sure everything turns out right, and making the final plushie art piece all in the matter of minutes! (Well, hours really, but it’ll be minutes for you!)

@@TeddyCrafter84 4 plushies can tell you SO much about what you may want to change, fix, or keep though! That’s a really great start!!! It really is super interesting to see how different artists make their plushies! Sometimes I see someone else make something and go “huh, that’s actually a really good way of attaching XYZ!” Helpful and fun all wrapped in one!😁

Ah, the cycle begins! Test, brainstorm, tweak, repeat!😂 It can be frustrating at times but it’s always SO worth it when a plush comes out just the way you wanted! i love this plush !!!!!!!! i also make plushies, mostly dragons, but i WISH i could get those brain neurons to pattern something else. isn't it obvious I LOVE YOUR WORK SO MUCH, i only sew without a sewing machine so it takes way longer and less cleen lines but i like it.

Why thank you! You’re really too kind! But this is no talent! It’s all learned skill! Which means you can learn to do it too! Unfortunately I do not sell my patterns and do not plan to any time in the future. The only pattern I’d sell is a pattern made specifically for a company looking to sell plushies. That’s about it I’m afraid!😅

I would say it costs well over $50 in materials to make a plush this size but I’d appreciate it if you didn’t try and copy my design, thanks!😅 It takes a long time to design and perfect a pattern like this and it would feel relatively disrespectful to try and copy my pattern. As for Spider Gwen in general? Or even a bear version of her? I can’t really stop that. I’m glad you like my work, but please just do not try to directly copy my work and give credit for the idea if you do make another version of it!💛

I wouldn’t want to steal all the hard work you put into designing her, I’d definitely draw up my own version (I’m just not so good at cutting out the right shapes😅) also it’d just be for me (definitely wouldn’t post it anywhere if that’s something you would be worried about) and my unhealthy plushie obsession🫣 but if I do end up making my own version I’ll be sure to let my friends know I got the idea from you!!

Good luck! I know it can be hard to come up with your own pattern but it’ll be worth it! If that’s too hard you can always buy a teddy bear pattern online and modify that instead! (That’s one way to 100% ensure you aren’t copying my pattern even on accident!)

Hey, please do not try to replicate my work. These videos are not tutorials and are more along the lines of a let’s play. We’re just having fun together with these! I obviously cannot stop you from making /A/ spider Gwen plush, but at the very least do not try to replicate my pattern (exact shape and size/style) as a show of respect for the years of work I’ve put into honing this pattern, thank you! (And no, I do not sell fanart. Sorry!)

I know they would! I just don’t want my patterns all over the place! I like having them be exclusive to myself. I don’t want them ending up like that one bat pattern that’s all over Etsy. 😅 It’s great for other people if they like to have their patterns out there but I probably won’t have any patterns available to buy unless it’s a custom pattern made for a company about to mass produce plushies in stores.😅💛
