Thanks for all the you your wife and your crew do for putting enjoyment into making and creating different things year-round. Even with your hands full you still take the time and put in the effort to connect with all the people that enjoy seeing all of the stuff that you all come up with. Thanks again great job. Can't wait to see them this year at dark hour.
Alan? Are you aware of what an incredibly soothing voice you have?🥰 I'm not someone who makes the products you do, but I still never miss a video with you. Your voice, dialect and your pedagogy when teaching are so relaxing to listen to If you ever get around to reading an audiobook, I'll be first in line to buy it❣️❣️é
Your resourcefulness and skill is hugely inspiring. Had a lot of mental blocks about crafting my whole life, and your videos are doing a lot to help me get over them
Great video, as usual. This really helped me!! I'm making an animatronic scarecrow que line for my home haunt. The idea of hula, and table skirts was a huge help. I was going to use 100% real corn stocks. Now more like 20% real rest hula skirts. Thank you!!!
I get it. That would be something that would irritate most, but it needs to be put into context. Those "patch overs", are already fully patched into their old club. They've paid their dues, done their time and are now being added to the roster of the more dominant club. Yes, it would seem a bit unfair, but they've already been where that prospect is. More than likely, they'll look at that prospect with a bit of admiration, as they will not know what the new club's initiation is like.
Alan what would be the approximate cost if a person wanted to create a haunt for Halloween? I have always wanted to do one but not sure where to start or the cost.
it depends on scale really, you could spend $500 or a few million. outdoor trail with a boom box and malibu lights? way cheaper than buying an old sports authority and converting that. its about the ideas you put in it and the ideas it inspires more than the money. money is easy, make sure it has soul.
Being in the UK, it's hard finding props that don't cost the earth. Been watching for a while now and made lots with expanding foam since. One thing we never seem to have here and life size skeleton s and if we do it's so expensive or the end up 4ft.. Do you have any plans on how to make one or bones?
I love this, especially the pre-assembled rattan/grass idea! However, despite it's apparent utility and transparency, I confess I'm daunted by employing latex. How beginner-friendly is latex? I can't think of an alternative for this application.
its liquid that goes on wet then dries solid and semi stretchy. you are intimidated by it because they dont sell it in home depot. you understand its properties because you understand paint. that being said, you could substitute contact cement for the latex in this case.
@@StiltbeastStudios you're right. I just tried the spray foam pumpkins tonight and it was definitely do-able. I guess latex will be another medium for me to try out! thank you 🎃
Tell you what I would really like to see somebody try and make, the 'Mars Attacks' aliens, a male with the helmet and that female in vegas thats chewing gum with a torn human mask.
Where o does not like raffia...mother natures answer to covering not only the human body...but furniture and costumes as well. How many know where raffia comes from organically in nature?...how many geographical locations can raffia be found?
My neighbors have chickens they are not supposed to have near our house and they keep getting up on our backyard wall. Im afraid my Malinios will jump up for one. I wonder if this would work to scare them and keep them off the wall.
My apologies: Last time I chimed in... I called Allen...Glenn (apologies). Allen is a hero to me as an amateur haunter just trying to give a scare to my rural neighborhood on a budget. Sorry Allen! (no offence intended) I'm combining a bit of many of your videos for my homemade scare, BUT to be motherly... PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE: I love all your videos you give us, but... '(not to be a nagging mom or too critical', I just WISH you would stop spraying ANY chemicals near your drinks that seem to be everywhere! Fans need to know proper safety. They also need to know that chemicals should never be around and food & drink anywhere near your work. I'd also BEG you to take those fumes as a real risk. PLEASE wear a proper mask so you are not sucking up all these fumes! Streaming for all these hours is hard... wearing a respirator is harder but your voice could always be dubbed in later. PLEASE take care of your health. As my pastor said after every sermon... "Enough said"! Halloween folk need our heroes too! Be careful, stay safe! BIG THUMBS UP!
