Agnes Torcato Yes, I had that kind of a friend. One time I invited her for a dinner to my home. To a dinner. She talked 18 hours without a break. Oh yes, we had to go to sleep - then she was quiet. It was supposed to be a dinner... I listened. Listened. Listened. She had taken a suitcase of her drawings to my place, and she showed them to me and talked. Talked. Until it was night. She lived far away, so I said she can overnight in my place. In the morning, she did not show any signs to go away. After the breakfast, she sat comfortably on my couch and talked. Talked. Talked. I must say, that I could not really listen everything because I had to start to plan how to get my own life back. It was the weekend. I decided that if she has not left by 10am, I must do something. She did not stop. So, 9:55 I said to her (interrupted her, because she talked continuously) that I‘lll go jogging and I‘ll take her to the busstop. Not at once she asked how I am, how I am doing, nothing. It is possible that she liked me - but I was exhausted. So, there was not so much pleasure to me of her liking. I think this is the World record of a „dinner“ conversation. 18 hours duration dinner.
