This particular Roku remote has no reset button. The keys were not working except three. But I was able to reset it. It worked with the Roku TV. #RokuRemote #tosinrefined #Roku #Solved #GetRefined
to put it short you're supposed to take out the batteries put them in and start spamming the buttons to the Roku. It doesn't have to be connected to the internet at all. The ir signals just get picked up and it will eventually connect.
thank you very much all the other videos were talking about a damn reset button and a light I'm like I don't have any of that all I did was take the batteries out hold the power button for 2 mins and wala it works
what Happened is your remote got wet ... moisture ... wet hands ... ... take your batteries out and let it sit over night .. if some buttons are working that means it is starting to dry ... take batteries out and let it sit for awhile more .
I have a reset button. The prompt on the tv tells me to hold it down for 5 seconds. I do, and nothing happens... The little LED that's green keeps flashing . It doesn't go away or do something different..... HELP!!
MY REMOTE DOESN'T HAVE A RESET/PAIRING BUTTON OR A POWER BUTTON!!!!! NOW WHAT??? I CAN'T EVEN GET PAST THE PAIRING SCREEN!!!! ALL I GET IS CHANGE THE BATTERIES AND PRESS BUTTONS THAT WON'T DO ANYTHING!!! I CAN'T FIND ONE VIDEO OR FORUM THAT KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS!
This remote does not have reset button either. Try and follow the steps. Assume it will work. Follow it blindly and you will see it will work for you. Give it a try Mark.
HI, that is just an IR remote, which literally sends infrared signals, like a flashlight, to the IR receiver. Holding the power button won't fix anything on the remote at all. If your IR remote stopped working, it will be most likely one of the following reasons: 1. NO battery or battery dead 2. something blocks IR signal/light (between the remote and the receiver) 3. The IR receiver is broken. 4. The remote is broken. most times the first two are the reasons.
As said earlier the remote wasn't the reason in most cases(1-3), especially when holding the power key can "fix" the remote, which just proves that. If the remote is indeed broken, just replace it with a better one. :-)
You really need to get to the point of your videos much quicker. You told us a story when you could have given us the information needed to pair remote
