Hi Jenny, Every morning I am eager waiting for you tutorial. You are so good at explaining , everything seems easy with your help and it does. I have no fabric shop in Normandy where I live, fortunately I can order on Missouri Star Quilt Co, I find there all that I need. And even if you speak fast, I can understand everything and you help me improve my English ! Thanks a lot. Best wishes from Marie

Thank you soooo much for all the inspiration. For the first time in my life, I have actually finished a project! In fact, in the last 4 weeks, I have finished 6 quilts. Each one was one from your tutorials. My husband thanks you too. You're my hero.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate your tutorials. You see I get frustrated easily when my Blocks don't line up right and tend to go for the very easy quilts when I know I am an intermediate quilter. You inspire me and make the projects so easy. Thank you so much for helping quilters like me and to keep me inspired. I love this pattern and I am going to make it.

I love this pattern. I also love the ability to watch a tutorial, it makes it so much easier to learn a new pattern. Jenny is so much fun to watch too. She is so upbeat and happy and after watching a tutorial I find myself with a big smile on my face the rest of the day.

Robert Kaufman has the best variety of batiks. They've been around for many years. Tons to choose from. I just visited your beautiful town and many shops. I bought a lot of batiks from your batik store too! I'm only sad it rained and that I missed seeing you Jenny!

I just got a sewing machine last week to make my daughters each an heirloom quilt using the "fabric of their lives" I've been saving since they were little. I have watched more than a hundred quilting videos to learn. Jenny, you are my absolute favorite! You make everything look so easy and I love your personality. I may have to try to make a road trip to come see you since I am your southern neighbor in Arkansas. Thank you for all the videos you do to teach us novices the joy of quilting!!

This pattern for the log cabin is wonderful ... never seen one like it. You and your family of workers have some fantastic imaginations. Something so simple as a goose in the corner to make a flying geese formation is great. Thank you for your time and combined knowledge to give us so many options to choose from for our own quilts. Please keep the ideas coming! Just realized ... this has been up for 5 years come next month ... can't believe I've missed it!!!

Hi Jenny. This was a truly fun and pretty project. I put all my batiks in a big box and mixed them all up. It was on the floor beside me and my iron and I just picked with my eyes closed. With that first pick I married the remaining colours. It is a king size quilt now which went together so quickly. Consequently it can be for male or female or both. I live in Waterloo Ontario and so enjoy your layback teaching methods. Your a great teacher. Keep on with the great work. Missouri is fortunate to have you.

I always dream of coming to Missouri Star and buying heaps of fabrics and notions. I'd have to win the lotto, but I can always fantasise . Do I need the fabric? No! I just want it. I'm sure I would make heaps of quilts and sell them. I sew every day and if I can't because of the arthritis I have I start getting with drawals. (Can't spell.). LOL It's because of all your tutorials. I just love them. And want to make the quilts. That's how I learnt to quilt, and can even quilt my quilts on my machine. Thank you Jenny for being s great teacher. Jan.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your tutorials and I'm in the process of making this quilt. But, it took me FOREVER to figure out how to make the block. May I suggest that each time you place your pieces together that the camera pan around to show the block from your point of view? I just saw that you did this with the Easy Starburst tutorial and it was fabulous! I'm mildly dyslexic and the tutorials help me tremendously in being able to make quilts, but this one was quite a challenge. ALSO...Once I figured it out it is easy. I probably would have never gotten so far with quilting if it weren't for your tutorials and I'm forever grateful. Thanks bunches.

Absolutely Love this! Last summer I bought a book/template set for a very similar pattern, it was called a Pineapple log cabin. The only real difference was that pattern called for folded triangles, which requires more yardage, & I didn't really care for the effect up close. I know I'm going to enjoy making this 1 because I made the twisted or curved log cabin You shared. That pattern worked up fast, was fun to make & the quilts (made 4) were gorgeous : ) I'm really starting to understand just how versatile the log cabin block can be!. Thank You so much for sharing a pattern that works well with Batiks or traditional fabrics too. I have amassed a nice collection of Batiks but honestly I'm not always sure when to use them which makes me reluctant to buy more. It would be wonderful to see more examples of patterns using them, Like when You share a quilt made using traditional fabrics then the same pattern in another colorway? Thanks again & Merry Christmas to everyone there at MSQC : ) Ps Another big Thank You for helping me with a terrific gift idea for my dearest Friend. She loves the color purple & I got the perfect collection from Your shop. Now I have the perfect pattern too : ) Big Hugs
