This is why I say delay is one of the most useful bass pedals. You can do the same thing in this video with blues or rockabilly.

Delays are great on bass. My bass tone is a boss ch-1 depth dimed and rate 0 to 2. Delay usually a quick 300MS. Pink floyd "one of these days" BEST bass delay and my reason for using affects on my bass oh!! And jaco OF COURSE,he is way i use chorus

That technique is how Giorgio Moroder oversaw the baseline from the Donna Summer single “I Feel Love”. He and whoever was assisting him with the synthesizer parts programmed a sequencer to play eighth notes on a Minimoog (or a similar model), and it slapped back on the opposite side of the stereo spread, creating the illusion of 16th notes in the mixdown.

Big thanks, Scott (or whoever is operating a channel for him). One of my favorite things about conveying that nugget of info is how it would appear as though it is something that only I have picked up other than Giorgio who originated it. I’ve watched a few demonstrations of people attempting to approximated. What they come up with sounds excellent, but it always seems as though they overlook the stereo slap-back. - Eric Benjamin Gordon

One of my favorite type of sounds. I use source audio c4 into the cali76 then use the hx stomp for chorus and delay. Swapping the delay for tremolo is also fun and the hx stomp shines at that because the footswitch can be set up momentary instead of latching.

Any thoughts besides the "unobtainium" of the Doom 2? Yes, that could be found. But any other fuzzes out there with similar controls? Thanks all!

Nothing really does what the doom 2 does, but for this sound any fuzz or drive will do the trick. It's not about the specific pedals, it's about the elements e.g. octave, drive, chorus, delay. Any version of any of those pedals will do
