Make Your Own Beeswax Wrap with 3 Ingredients!

We're sharing our fav recipe for making these reusable and multipurpose beeswax wraps today 💕
All you need are:
👉 35cm x 35cm sheet of cotton or linen cloth
👉 20g organic yellow beeswax
👉 15g pine rosin
👉 5g jojoba oil
Melt them all together and brush evenly on the cotton/linen cloth. (This works better with an oven but if you don't have one, you can follow the same method as ours and use a heat gun/hair dryer at max heat and low power to help the coating process.)

Hi! I have had a difficult time melting the rosin using a double broiler. Is there a better, more efficient way?

Hi Haneen, we researched and found the Damar resin can be a substitute to Pine rosin. However we have never tried that recipe. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! Around 70 to 80 degrees celsius would melt the waxes. But the Rosin (if using any) would need at least 100 degrees to melt it down. Once all is melted, give it a good stir so they can combine together. Hope this helps.

Mine lasted about 8 months then it kinda wore off coz I washed it too aggressively. Bought mine online though. So now I'm watching videos so I can revive it.

It depends on how large your sheet is. It's ok to prep ahead and top up and add on ingredients it doesn't cover the entire sheet that you have. Hope this helps.

Pine resin or Rosin is a gum or sap from the tree. You can try another type of gum as long as it is tacky/sticky. Do let us know if it works.

@@afifihussain2095 It could be the grade of your pine rosin. If it is not sticky, try adding more pine rosin to the wrap and melt it down. Otherwise try a different grade. Hope it works this time. Do let us know.

Looks great. Mines feels waxy and it's not sticking. Do I add more rosin? When I crunch it up it opens back up and just feels sticky but waxy.

Hi Annemarie. Thank you for watching. You can easily make beeswax wrap without the pine resin, but the resin adds a little tackiness which helps the wraps stick to itself like actual clingfilm.

to be clear, the weights listed for the second and third ingredient are for the total including the ingredients poured before it,. right? so it's actually .95g of rosin and 1.35g of jojoba, correct?
