I do like your work, sir. The weathering and the paint job really kill it. Nice!

I'd like to see more armor for this build.

Uh, very nice. If you want to beef up a possible costume set, try to combine geological and historical sound pieces. That helmet definitely would be in the high middle ages and probably parts fantasy.

Thanks! Good advice :)

Just FYI, this helmet has appeared as a LARP helmet around the place for many years, as well as appearing in the game For Honor on the "Warden" character. It has no historical precedence other than maybe the base bascinet dome. Not shitting on the guy's build because he did a good job and it's very nice, but if you wanted a more historical look it would be better to build a helmet in a different style.

Very nice. One suggestion: use Chicago screws on the visor. And yes, I'd enjoy seeing a full armor set build.

thanks! Yes chicago screws are a great idea. I just didn't want to order them for just one helmet that will only be for display.

Tip, glue a washer the the helmet and face shield where the screw is to prevent ware and tear, that way the washers will rub against eachother and not the foam.

Absolutely amazing. Have you made a Kylo Ren helmet or have plans to make one? Just thought I'd. Keep up the amazing work as always. Take care. Hope you're doing well.

Thanks! I have not made one yet and I'm taking a break from Starwars stuff for a while so it's not in my plans unfortunately. Maybe one day!

I love these, came to the channel trying to figure out how to create a template for a specific helmet but no one’s made it before and I’m really struggling, anyone able to help?

Great finish. I'm a little worried about the safety of your assembly, however. If someone hits you upside the head which people are often tempted to do when you're wearing a helmet, you stand a very real risk of having the end of that bolt driven into your head or face the way you have it configured. I would flip it around, and put the smooth round bolt head on the inside of the helmet. There's much less chance of getting hurt that way. You can easily trim the bolt end on the outside of the helmet with a Dremel tool and a cutting wheel. And if you're worried about how it looks on the outside of the helmet you could probably figure out a way to cover it up with foam.

Covering the bolt with foam would be important for anyone who plans to wear the helmet a lot or for larping. In my case the helmet is for display only.

I wish you went more in depth with the paint job
