Nice to see you back in the land of the living Dave 👍 a new year and new gear 😁 I've just upgraded my reels, new rod ,new boots , jacket's and over trousers👍 but ye canny beat the supertrax studs I've been using them for donkeys year's on my boots for river fishing and they've yet to let me down 👍 Oh and the lures I made work a treat 🎣🎣😉
nice shout out there davey lad always good to have more grip around those rocks ... one thing i would add is if your fishing alone on the rocks ... its always a good idea to get a good self inflating life jacket, if you happen to fall and knock yourself out it always helps to know u have that little bit more protection if u happen to fall in the water .. tight lines buddy 👍
Thanks for the comment 👍 yes totally agree on the life jacket...tbh mine doesn't always come with me but i always wear it in locations i know could be dangerous
Hi Dave ... Good to hear from you again hope you’re keeping well. Some great advice there and if taken should help to keep us all safe on the rocks. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all the best for the 2023 season and tight lines ... Cheers mate take care 👍🎣🎣
Hello Dave, I agree on your choice of boot, I bought 2 pairs of them 3 years ago when they were on offer, my first pair are still going strong, only had to replace the laces, the other pair are still in the box unworn under the bed. Not sure if they would be suitable for saltwater use as I don't fish in mine. For rock hopping and wading I can recommend palm gradient Kayak boots, they have a good strong sole and are saltwater resistant. Looking forward to see some more lure fishing in your content. Regards Keith, (Irish Republic)
Thats fantastic to know Keith about the boots I really thought they have the best sole and build for the money....ill check out the boots you recommended as im always looking for goid stuff to try in future......all the best and tightlines
I jst payed 70 for the snowbee spike boots first ever pair not the best for the money really an I wonder how long they'll last on the rocks,, not the most comfortable either,,I'd usually go with decent walking boot and take the inevitable wet feet ,, did try to stud boots myself they quickly fell off but were cheap ones with no tool 👍
ill have to check.put the snowbee boots berty...i used to use their studs too but they never stayed in long...the supertracks are the way to go..ive only lost a couple in 2 years and ive walked some miles
@@jarrowvikingsinsaneangling9785 I'll have a look cheers 👍 I did notice a big difference in my grip on the wet black slippy stuff the couple of times I've had them on right enough,, had enough of the sore elbows and knees 😂👍
