Brad i cant seem to get anywhere with guitar no matter what i do. Im getting very discouraged, im about ready to give up because learning through youtube is nearly impossible and we cant afford in person lessons.
Hey dude! I hate to see when people get discouraged. I see you already commented on my other videoe on Drop D Power chords. I'd start right there and only focus on that for now. If you haven't, go check out this video on how to actually play a real song using those chords: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GWuAyG191MQ.htmlsi=pKvCDDNtqBnNX0ie
@@SimpleGuitarDotCom ok, thank you. I'm sorry for getting discouraged it's just I've been trying to learn for months and I feel like I've gotten nowhere.
Sorry for that I believe I'm mainly playing what I call a Gadd5 (320033) and Cadd9 (x32033) and off the top of my head I can't remember but I might throw in a regular D major (xx0232) or a Dsus4 (xx0233) and possibly an Em7 (022033). I hope that helps.
Make sure to lay your whole palm down and just strum with your wrist first. That’s really the key. Just do it really slow and adjust until you have them all muted:
