Thanks, I think i went a bit over the top with this lure, i am planning to go back to basics in thenext few videos and make some lures than don't require all that kit

I had just set up the camera to see if i could get some casting shots, and took that on about seventh or eight cast, i then tried to film the close up of the reel and caught another smaller pike from the same spot, it was a lucky night, thanks

Jan Porter Cheers just working on new one, i saw your interview with the angling times a good while ago and i enjoyed that informal style without all the bollocks, so it has set me off a bit down the road of doing some interviews with small tackle makers as well but hopefully showing what people are passionate about and why rather than just the process of making . It worked, the lure sank very slowly and it is great for quickly getting an idea of weight required but i think it would still benefit from a bit of old fashioned manual adjustment. THanks

I take is a compliment that you would go to the trouble of listening closely, sound wise i think i do need to concerntrate a bit more on the wording of the voice overs and delivery i think I am still trying to get that mix right of what i can convey through the images and what i can actually say. Sorry about the delay, i am learning on the job and also trying to fit in something a little new in terms of production in every vid, so they do not look all the same. I think it is still a balance between getting information over at a speed that makes sense while not boring people. Thanks

yes they leave the same kind of bite marks in your hands if you mess up unhooking them like do for time to time

The rod is a Bob's cut and shut special, Bob the local tackle shop owner tends to give me broken rods to mend or mess with if i sit and listen to his stories, this is a six foot 60-150g jerk bait rod from some unspecified maker glued into a shimano split grip handle, i added a brass ring from a fly rod to really hold hold the reel in place wihout using a fixing kit. The reel is a chinese import i bought as a spare to my Abu pro-max, in the end i threw the pro-max away and this reel is a solid piece of kit ripped off the older abu designs. This is the crap i fish with when i spend my money on making videos
