At my campsite, I share how to make "traditional" New England Clam Chowder for one using ingredients that require no cooler or refrigeration. I do this using a basic mess kit (Mirro Open Country stainless steel). Along the way I'll share some history about Toothpicks and the USA's oldest continually operated restaurant and how they tie in to clam chowder!
