I love the bat helmet!!! No mistakes, just happy accidents. I love the blue wig on the doll you have it on, it turned out wonderfully!!! The green wig is perfect for the holiday doll!!!! Thank you for sharing your process Casie! 💙💚

You can use liquid latex as an amazing adhesive. I use it for my Bjds wigs, once dry, you can wash/dye and bleach the wig and it will Not fall apart and it’s flexible too

Do you have a preffered type that you use?

I think she looks great! I love a thick fluffy wig on dolls though. I really want to make a wig for Abby instead of the factory scalp she has that just never lays nicely, but I keep putting it off since mohair is kinda pricey and I can't find anyone selling a nice minty green anyway. Also omg that batty helmet! It's amazing!!

Can you please tell how much hair you needed at the end? and how long was the hair in cm? Thanks🌷

That was so fun to watch! What if you try using some pastels to mask the shiny. Also, if you keep the hair banded as it comes, lay it down on parchment paper? and apply the glue to small bits of the hair, while its all still banded, then after they dry, trim some of the glued edge down with scissors, if needed, and then glue those to the top areas of the wig.

Hi Casie, Just wanted to say thanks for all of your videos, I have enjoyed them for years! Maybe if you tried doing the very top of the wig as in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pUpwZOWtE9g.html&ab_channel=PoppenAtelier%2FDollArtStudio She does the top of the part at about 17:20. I know she does it on a monster high doll, but I feel like it could work on a Blythe wig cap too. Also if you did it this way, you might be able to use the strong fabric glue, because the glued part is nicely hidden underneath the part. Although to get the part to lay nice and flat at the top after you’re done, you might have to use a low heat curling iron or wet it down to settle the flipped over mohair once the glue dries? Not sure it would work, but might be worth a try! Best of luck in your new wig-making adventures!
