Making a tiled bathtub AKA a roman tub, Episode 1/3 

This is so awesome! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and post them.

You show the lights but not how you built the tub floor. Did you use concrete? Was the floor sloped to the drain? How? Is there an overflow if so how did you install so it doesnt leak? The last video shows the end result of the floor with a square drain plate, is that a 2 inch drain like a shower, if so how do you plug it to fill up with water?

As a service plumber. I was looking for ideas for my own house only change I would make is making the p-trap in the shower 2" incase it ever clogs you will be able to snake it

I'm going to be putting one in on a second floor of my house. I see you had trouble with the drain later. Is there a certain drain you used? is there a more detailed video or diagram to follow?

What did you do for the drain slope? I’ve seen other videos that use mortar but I didn’t hear anything about the slope here. I’ll be looking at doing this next month. Thanks in advance
