Skill Cards
Normal: Insta-Heal (Messiah Picaro), Spell Master (Tsukiyomi Picaro), One-Shot Kill (Cu Chulainn), Maeigaon (Thanatos Picaro)
Fusion Alarm: Repel Bless (Raphael), Megidolaon (Black Rider), Riot Gun (Cu Chulainn), Gun Amp (White Rider), Arms Master (Tsukiyomi Picaro)
- The St. Hermelin Badge (Null Bless/Curse) comes from the free Legacy DLC bundle
- Will of the Sword changes the Charge/Concentrate multiplier from 2.5x to 3x, meaning it's a 20% boost for any attack (it exceeds the 100% damage cap)
- Might Gaze increases multi-target magic by 20%. It also exceeds the 100% damage cap, unlike Pagan Allure (Satanael's original trait, Strengthens magic by 50%). That's why it's on Arsene.
- How to get max stats? Use Ryuji’s Rank 7 ability Insta-Kill and Chihaya’s Rank 8 ability Celestial Reading. Get Chihaya to raise the chances of a fusion alarm on a day you’re going to Mementos. Go into the first floor, and insta-kill 2-3 shadows to trigger an alarm. Go back to the Velvet Room, fuse any two Personas together, then use that new fused Persona (it’s name will be in yellow) to strengthen the one you want maxed stats on. The strengthening will not result in any XP gain, but you will get a total of +10 to random stats. You can keep doing this until all of a Persona’s stats are at 99

It's random. Just save before, make a Network Fusion and Almighty Amp/Magic Ability might show up on the fused Persona. Reload if it doesn't work

St. Hermelin Badge is probably the best accessory if you're not gonna use Omnipotent Orb. It blocks Bless/Curse so it makes the Personas you want to use have an extra slot if they have a weakness to those elements. I built some of my Personas with this in mind.

Why not use omnipotent orb tho? I know it's hard to obtain, but it seems like just a much better version of the item, and it even frees a slot up from drain ice.

I made the gun/curse build, feels more authentically Arsene to me, and since victory cry is difficult to get and doesn't help for boss/strong battles, I added charge to more easily make use of the Will of the Sword. I also considered doing an all gun build where maeigaon and curse amp are swapped with charge and gun boost, and in place of victory cry using Arms Master.

Thanks for the builds! I ended up making a full Gun build for Arsene though since I already have a Curse build on Tsukuyomi. Thanks to you, I have a buffer with Attis, a physical attacker with Yoshitsune, a support tank with Fafnir, an Almighty attacker with Izanagi-no-Okami, and elemental builds with Satanael, Kaguya, and Magatsu-Izanagi. I also got a Nuclear build with Asura, but that one's probably not gonna be used as much. Maybe I'll also build your healer Orpheus once I'm done with all my Confidants.

Dude i love your builds, i practically copied your P5R dream team end game builds and i love them made me beat lavenza merciless with relative ease. Gonna try this arsene build when i get back home! Oh and i wish you could make P4G end game builds like you do with P5R i know its an old game but it just came out on PC and i was hoping you'd make a few builds just to help us out on that end game grind, appreciate your vids and thank you for your work!

Glad to hear the article has been of help! P4G, yeah it'd be interesting to make some builds for it as well. For reference, I used Yoshitsune, Black Frost, Trumpeter and Beelzebub in P4G, because they all needed only 3-4 skill slots to block everything but Almighty.

I had what would constitute as a Prologue Arsene in my first playthrough, before building a Raoul that maximized Phantom Show while partially mirroring my Arsene. I thought it would be fitting.

So... apparently I got lucky enough when I did the Network Fusion and got BOTH Almighty Amp and Magic Ability obtained for my Mot when I used Crystal Skull and someone's Thantos. I wasn't expecting it. Anyway, this guide helped me get my Almighty Arsene! Thank you. Now, I'll use the Curse/Gun Build on Raoul as he's the second Arsene so I can use both Builds.

@@bainz Yup. Finally got my Almighty Arsene finally done. However, I want to make a Will of Sword Raoul to make use of the Curse/Gun setup. Can I use mostly everything here from the Curse and Gun build to add to Raoul? Or do you recommend something else? EDIT: Alright, found a path to make a Raoul with the same Curse/Gun Build as Arsene in the video. After fusing Bishamonten, this is what I used. Bishamonten (67 / Hierophant)+ Saki Mitama (6 / Lovers) = Valkyrie (44 / Strength) Valkyrie (44 / Strength) + Queen Mab (43 / Magician) = Raoul (76 / Fool)

will of the sword best trait, especially with flow and futaba giving you free charge+concentrate rather frequently, having izanagi okami with almighty boost and amp and high stats can almost one shot the twins.

When im fusing for Oni, I only get 2 slots to transfer abilities. So i cant tranfer ali-dance, drain ice and almighty Boost. Am I doing something wrong?

I want to do this but I have no idea where to even start. My first P5R playthrough was my first persona game ever and I didn’t even use the skill cards or chihiya and stuff like that. I just fused personas when my inventory got full and tried to have every type of attack with me

I dont really expect an answer since this video is older but, what do you think about a crit gun build? Was thinking on something along the lines of Vitality of the Tree, gun boost, gun amp, trigger happy and adverse resolve (which triggers due to vitality of the tree). One could put Will of the sword on the starter persona which has the auto-ma skills + charge so you still can use the boost on arsene. Would this be a viable option or am I doing some overkill there and i dont get much out of it at the end?

bainz I replayed the game three times just to unlock him, then I thought I would make him to beat “you know who” Spent hours researching fusion functionality and just trying to find a possible way. got a semi decent, run all the way to the boss and instant death, again and again and again. So I gave up, I would rather grind messiah than to fight that mess. So I put Telos in a sword, forever lost in my inventory.

I know I’m late,but I changed the arsène curse/gun build for just gun,and my god it was broken here’s the skills:one shot kill,riot gun,apt pupil,gun amp, gun boost,trigger happy,Ali dance,and arms master,and the accessory was omnipotent orb you’ll almost guarantee to hit a crit with brave step basically 100% crit chance,and the trait obviously will of the sword.

Remember arsene is from fool arcana he can learn many skill, but of course that depends on fusions material and lvl. I always make a different build for arsene on ng+ 👍

Hello @bainz, thanks for your great work! I'd like to ask you a question if I may, is there any mechanical reason you chose curse element instead of others or almighty? I can understand that almighty is too much mp intensive, so an elemental spell should be better, but I can't figure out other reasons towards the element choice, could you please shed some light? Quick question. I made an Almighty Arsene build with Megidolaon and Mighty Gaze and he’s all maxed out. I want to change the build to the curse and gun one you have on now, but would I have to go through the entire process of leveling just because I wanted to change his trait to will of the sword?

Uh, yeah unfortunately, because you can only change traits by re-fusing. But, if you stick to what you have now, the only thing you're missing out on is 20% dmg on Gun attacks

So I use Maeigaon on most enemies. Unless they're immune to Curse, then I use Riot Gun. One-Shot Kill is for single boss battles. Is that all correct?

I think something like Megidolaon, Almighty Amp, Block Ice & Bless, Salvation, Concentrate, Debilitate, would be good. Then maybe block Phys or Sword Dance or Spell Master etc

alright, a couple questions if you can answer them. these pertain to the gun/curse build. 1) this ones stupid, but you got concentrare and charge on another persona, right? 2) whats the best way to level up (obviously gallows with fusion alarms, but whats a good persona / confidant level to sacrifice? 3) whats the best way for max stats? edit: got the answer to no 3

1. yea, you can charge/concentrate using anyone and switch 2. the fastest way to level up a Persona would be beating the Reaper. for sacrificing in the Velvet Room, Crystal Skull/Orichalcum (Treasure Demons) will give the most exp

Is there a persona where you can itemize for drain ice?

I have two questions about the Curse/Gun build: 1. Is Will of the Sword still the best option if you're wanting to do a Joker-only, Arsene-only run? Concentrate is auto-applied, but you'll have no access to Charge, which the Gun skills need, unless you use items or Futaba hooks you up. 2. If I don't want to use that accessory and need to get Repel/Drain Bless, what should I replace? My first thought would be Riot Gun, since all the Passives are really useful and you don't necessarily need two Gun Skills.

For that type of run, ya I think Will of the Sword would be good. Riot Gun or OSK could be replaced, I think for a Joker only run you'd need a healing skill too maybe

@@bainz Well, I will have Victory Cry for healing. If I ever need healing in the middle of a battle I could always use the excessive amount of consumable items Royal seems to give you. I could also equip the Ring of Lust or Salvation Crown accessories if I know it's going to be a battle that I'll need healing for.

1. Well, here the Almighty one would do more since you have room for all the boosting passives, but Riot Gun is stronger than Megidolaon, so if you did a full Gun build it'd do more damage 2. DLC Bosses like... P3/P4 Protagonist? I don't think either one is necessarily better for those two 3. Comes down to personal preference. I like the second one more bc it feels like it fits Arsene, whereas you can have the same Almighty set-up on any Persona

Hey uhm, I would like to know something, In gun/curse build, wouldn't it be stronger to have the boosts as well? Like, One-shot Kill being replaced by gun boost and Victory Cry by Curse boost? Not sure if this passes some limit I'm not aware of tho >.

Ya, boosts would make the attacks stronger, I just had OSK for its crit rate and Victory Cry so you could always restore HP/SP. But it's ofc personal preference, so change things as you see fit

@@bainz Oh!, thanks for answering so quickly! ^^ I see, I didn't even consider OSK's crit rate, so I might actually just change Victory Cry in the end (since I already have another persona that has it). Again, thanks o/

Is this only for NG+, or can you do this before that? If so, what level do I need to be minimum to do this?

You can do it during a first playthrough, but a lot of the Personas in the fusion path are high level, so that may make it hard to follow. You can always add skills later on with skill cards if you aren't high enough level right now

Just a question : I'm planning on doing a let's play of this game (after doing one on Persona 3 fes and persona 4 golden) Is it possible to achieve this build on first playthrough or is it absolutely required to have new game + ?

It is possible on first playthrough, but it'd likely have to be near the end of it

Were you using Orpheus F (Level 11) from the new DLC bundle? Just keep doing Fool fusions (lower level) until Arsene comes up

You have to use the Gallows. Basically save, sacrifice the Persona with Almighty Amp into Arsene, if the skill Almighty Amp doesn't show up, reset your save and try again

Could I just replace the drain ice skill for something like repel ice I don't think I can make a Satan with drain ice on it

For me when I see a skill that covers my weaknesses I go for what ever on my inventory like take ice for example you can use null repel or drain as long your weaknesses is cover
