This means I have to start five new projects now, right? ....RIGHT? 👀

Sure, as long as all your current projects already have a needleminder.

I love them! My favorite I'm calling Vanilla Mermaid 😂 (more like she smells of vanilla, not that she's edible). It's the glitter & white one. They're all great, though! You do amazing work!

Those came out SO nice! I love them all. (Well, okay, maybe not the ORT one. 😂) Thanks for showing us this. It's so neat to see all that goes into it, and so fun to see the range of results.

They turned out so pretty Michelle! 😍I love the black one and the 2 pink ones and the blue glitterish one and the blue and white one, so kinda all of them haha! 🥰 I would definitely buy some, I don't have any for the moment and yours look stunning! I really enjoyed the video, it really showed the whole process and really congratulations on creating everything from scratch! 💕 (In my opinion, please don't feel bad about talking about "selling stuff", I understand what you mean but I find it completely normal! ❤)

Thank you! 🥰 Honestly I love seeing people I know take the plunge and sell stuff so it makes no sense to be so paranoid about it but you get me! I've been using these a ton since making them, properly proud of myself haha 😎

That sparkly blue and white one is pretty! I'm hoping to put my year of orts in a resin coaster at the end of the year, so it was nice to see your test.
@TheGiddyStitcher
@TheGiddyStitcher Год назад
Ooh yes I love seeing all the things people find to keep their orts, a coaster sounds perfect! Happy to report there's been zero colour bleeding in either epoxy or UV resin so you should be good to go.

Absolutely cool. I can’t wait to have some Michelle original octopus raspberry ripple needle minder. 🤓 with matching set of dice for my bf as well. 😉

My needle minder is a small magnet stuck to one of the screws of my desk lamp, so I'm impressed with anything else 😅 but you did an amazing job 😊 I love the designs!

Thanks! I mostly end up using the magnetic cable ties that hold all the extra fabric around my Q-snap so not quite sure what got into me with these 😂

Interesting video. I love them all, especially the glittery one. The ort one would be really neat with more threads in it. Hope you start selling needleminders in the future.
@TheGiddyStitcher
@TheGiddyStitcher Год назад
Yes I think that's probably the mould with the most possibilities, I'm excited to try a bit of absolutely everything with it! The trick of course is going to be deciding on an actual range of repeatable ones instead of making them all unique 😅
@maryannjohnson5410
@maryannjohnson5410 Год назад
@@TheGiddyStitcher Unique, or one of a kind can be a selling point. The only problem would be having to list each one if you sell them online. Though you could get around that by listing the colors used and saying the pattern may vary or something like that.

Those are amazing! My fiancee is in LOVE with the icy-glitter and white one. I like the black and silver, but I also think the idea of using threads is super cool. And taking inspiration from another comment, I wonder if thread in dice would look cool?
@TheGiddyStitcher
@TheGiddyStitcher Год назад
Ooh that's interesting although we'd need to test and see if it made the dice weighted differently. I smell a science experiment coming on! 👩‍🔬 I think that halfy half one was definitely the most "wow" when I took them out of the moulds. Am thinking I could recreate that but with a few different colours instead of always the teal, and bam there's a product range ready to go! Exciting stuff 😁

They were great! Its cool you have so many different types of craft to merge together too. I did buy soap making stuff before lockdown but not touched it yet haha 🤣 I actually really like the rusty dwarvish design 😍 can never have too many needle minders so keep going! If you can be bothered that is haha, the blue sparkly half and half, if the white was beige it'd be like the sea meeting the sand
@TheGiddyStitcher
@TheGiddyStitcher Год назад
I did think about doing a typical resin beach one, maybe in the next lot! You should so break out those soap supplies because it's super fun and even though you have to wait for them to cure, you do at least get to slice up your soap and get the feeling of accomplishment after just a day. Protip though don't leave castor oil on a shelf in direct sunlight for six months and then try and make soap with it, just putting that out there 💅
@abbieparry2039
@abbieparry2039 Год назад
@@TheGiddyStitcher haha we like checking the heat by the coconut oil melting lol 👌 I didn't get the slice up kind. I was very oddly specific in my random order. I got the soap bases and oils then I got a honeycomb mould (for honey and oat infused soaps - just didn't realise how much the manuka honey actually is 😳) then I got some lego figure moulds lol 😂 we got re usable Easter eggs so was gonna do that clear with some lego shapes inside. Bit ambitious for a first attempt or what haha 🤣

Great stuff, I liked them all especially the glittery one. One question though what type of magnets would work with them. Iam amazed at your knowledge of stuff and it wasn't a waste of time you have something to show at the end.
@TheGiddyStitcher
@TheGiddyStitcher Год назад
Thanks! I only added that glitter on a last minute whim and am so glad I did! The magnets are just your basic round neodymium ones, they're cheap and you can get them on places like eBay and Amazon. I attached them with the classic E6000 glue so they're nice and sturdy.

hi, I'm new to your channel and just wanted to say I love it! These minders are so cute, but so is the aida that you're displaying them on, where is it from? Also random question, where are you from? Your accent reminds me of my dentist's accent lol, she's from Durham
@TheGiddyStitcher
@TheGiddyStitcher 4 месяца назад
I grew up in County Durham so, excellent guess lol. The aida was actually a gift a couple years back, I think it was from a shop called The Stitchy Ferret but would have no idea if they still do this particular one!

Ahaha you have no idea how pleased I am that I guessed your accent right lol. Ooh I'll have a look, I've seen some really cool ones on Etsy as well. I downloaded your snowflake blackwork as I hadn't done any blackwork before, it came out pretty good, though I did make a small mistake. But I'm telling myself that all snowflakes are unique, so technically it's OK 😅
