A few years ago I watched a video by Sarah-Jayne over on Bella Coco Crochet's YT channel where she showed us how to make crocheted pumpkins. I've made so many since then, some given as gifts, some to keep for my own home décor. I love them so much and they're actually really easy to make, even if you're not a crochet expert.
For detailed beginner instructions on how to do each stitch, please visit Bella Coco's channel here:

For this project I used a dark rusty orange coloured 2 ply acrylic wool and a 3.5mm crochet hook.
The stitches you need to be able to do are chain stitch, treble crochet (double crochet if you're in the USA) and to join the seams we use a double crochet (single crochet in the USA)
You'll also need a bodkin and some scissors.
Get yourself a cuppa and a crochet hook and spend a chilled out 25 mins with me - and Mono the cat, who was very much desperate for attention by the time I was near the end of this project! She's an absolute sweetheart and for about 20 minutes every afternoon she wants to have your full and undivided attention. She climbs all over you, licks and nibbles you and accidentally stabs you with her sharp claws as purrs her little head off. She is utterly adorable but it's not overly helpful when you're trying to make something. At least this time she didn't climb onto my head, because that's happened on many occasions!
I appreciate that this is a long video and that not everyone is into crochet, so if you want to skip this one I totally understand. But thank you in advance to those of you who do watch :-)
