More using up paper scraps from the scrap paper tray. I have set myself a challenge to use it til it's gone! 😄 #useittilitsgone
This is my 2nd method for making faux washi tape. The first method was shown in my previous video:

Todays video shows three batches of faux washi tape. Two batches, including the batch I make on camera, was made and recorded 13/12/23, which is why you will see that the scrap paper tray was much fuller lol. The third batch that I made was recorded 29/02/24 as part of the #useittilitsgone challenge.

Great way to use up those scraps. Many years ago I would do this type of technique and create pieces that I would turn into Artist Trading Cards. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RKMRjj4DKPI.html These days I don't keep those tiny scraps anymore as I didn't always have time to use them up. But Recently I'm working through my scraps trying to use as much as possible. Thanks for sharing this with us. Well done.

Just watched it! They turned out awesome Linda! Love all the scraps you used! Sometimes it's impossible to use them all up, they breed overnight I swear lol. Wow this was 13 years ago! So many great videos out there from years ago but it's so hard to unearth them. Thanks for sharing the link, or I may never have seen it! 😀🩷💜

I like to go to a channel and find a play list or just click through a bunch of videos that way I see lots from one person. You are most welcome. Thanks for sharing your inspiration. Yes yes try them Molly! They are so grungy and scrappy. I just love them! Don't worry, you won't get a chance to be sad because the scraps are never really gone lol. I estimate it will take me a whopping two days to fill that tray again after I empty it 😂😂🩷💜

Thanks Laura!! I do like how they turned out much better using method 1 in the previous video, but this is much quicker and you can use up sooo many tiny little scraps at once lol. Keep an eye on the growing scrap pile; I swear those little scraps breed over night!! lol 😂💚

I think I like the ones made with the pva glue, will add a little something to the page, and on my computer anyway, they don't look too shiny 😊 Ok, so just thinking, you promised to make a video using CD's and turning them into Shrinky Dinks, when the grandkids weren't around to breath in the noxious fumes.... so just a reminder, add it too your list, maybe you can incorporate some of your scraps into the project, lol.😁

Ohh I haven't forgotten Carol! Actually I have made a start and the first video is just how to remove the shiney foil off the CD's. I still need to film the rest of the video. Soooo many ideas and never enough hours in the day to film and edit them all, lol. My husband retires in a year and a half so I will have my craft room all to myself and I can film and craft all day yeeha!! 😄💚

OMG 🎉love these so much. I like seeing the difference between each piece. Our bananas have sticky brown tape on them. I’m gluing on them right now. Same effect. But your way - I could cut to the size I want. Thx again great job.

Hi Bonny, I’ve been away from FB for a few days and I am playing catch-up on videos. You must have folded the paper in half before you cut it? I think I will use just regular a book page size so I can get it into my guillotine cutter Love the final product and I’m so happy that your scrap bucket is getting emptied. Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve for these scraps.

Yep, I had to fold it to fit in my guillotine . I thought bigger sheets would be better but of course I didn't consider the size of the guillotine lol. Big sheets might be fine if you have a large sewing cutting mat and you cut them with a roller cutter. I would have done that but my table is covered with books and fabric lol 😂😂🧡
