2:19 The thing saying in Japanese is "please insert your card." （カードを入れてください。） It's a card reader used to pay tolls in Japan. Whenever you pass through one, it automatically charges on the card.

By far the coolest of the subies. I had a 97 impreza hatch exact same body but it was n/a with wrx suspension and front brakes. Xforce exhaust sounded throaty. Wish i never sold it.

Back in high school days I dreamt of a Black GC wagon.. this thing is awesome.. loving the build. Currently have a blue GC8 sedan with all the STI goodies. Kinda wish it was in a wagon though haha.

I used to own a GF8 just like this, was a HOOT to drive in candian winters :)

Speaking of welding I'm doing this welding school right now at oxarc and I thought for sure once I looked at the test I was going to fail it no matter what did a whole ton of practice and came a welding zombie and somehow got enough confidence to do the test did the test they tested it / bended it I passed I for sure thought that it was not going to work but it did so now I only have to do the overhead and then I'm fully certified but I will say " WITH enough practice YOU will create perfection"

I love the Evo, but DAMN that WRX exhaust sounds mint!! Loving this build so far. The GC8/GM8 is my favorite Subie body style, so this GF8 wagon is sweet too.

I love the style of cars Evan gets yes exotic cars are sick but something about jdm old school is even better !!!

The thing that starts to talk is a ETC (electronic toll card). There is a lot of tolls in Tokyo etc. and with that you just have to slow down at a toll booth and it register the amount automatically, instead of stop and pay with cash/card. The card in the reader is linked to a bank account of your choice. The voice is basically telling you to insert a card. =)

Awesome progress. Aside from the turbo upgrade. Hope you keep the top mount but upgrade it to a cx racing top mount. Great work none the less

I have a 2014 Nissan Juke she's got a turbo on the mr16ddt. But I've done a Injen SRI, Turbosmart 50/50 Diverter Valve, and a Fast Religion Muffler Delete Straight Pipe. Sounds good. But I highly recommend a 50/50 BOV Evan.

have an FP Blue in my STi, made 454/430 on e78 pretty easily, JRTuned pushed an FP Blue in the same GF chassis as yours to 530whp!

i love watching these videos, you have many cars at work at the same time, it seems to be pretty common, i have myself a 1964 toyota crown at work where is going to be a 1az-fe turbo engine and then there is a 1969 toyota crown pickup where there is a 4m engine and it is with air bags

With the new exhaust on the subie it sounds like the eclipse from the first F&F even though they replaced that sound with a civic.
