In the episode you can hear that it’s Pike singing the higher notes. But I loved how they swapped it for the gimmick 🤩

Why did they make her accent so strongly southern for it? In the show too. Doesn't sound like pike to me? EDIT: no one seems to read the part about "in the show too". Why is PIKE southern?not Ashley during a bit. Why does PIKE sounds like that? If you don't have an answer just don't reply

It's a joke. The genre was country music which was known for southern accents (see Sam's country quip smart toothbrush jingle) and salute to the cowboy hat. If she was wearing funky bellbottoms or a peace sign medallion they might compose a disco song with high falsettos and a neutral accent (listen to Sam's disco jingle for quip smart electric toothbrush... mouth mouth disco! Disco with me! Mouth mouth disco it's a disco boogie!)
