Nice job.I noticed the latch strike plate isn’t a true 90 degree angle.I guess the way it sits within the door frame has something to do with that.

Thank you. Yes, that's because the door posts have a slight angle to them which is the way the originals were too.

California is a long way from Pennsylvania. We just had the model T swap meet yesterday (Saturday) and I was looking for good original model A latches I saw no latches of any kind out there.
