Not really it's early in the morning on set even a jester is serious during the early morning on set same with a sound check when ur performing on tour
Elf has a special place in my heart. The night before Christmas not long after it came out, they played it on tv. I was laying in bed with my mom (we were staying at my grandparent's house) and it came in. I got super excited as I'd been dying to see it. My mom secretly was all happy because I start begging her to get it on DVD and little did I know, she already had.
If you compare it to the behind the scenes of other movies it’s actually pretty good-all acting looks relatively cheesy without good directing and editing.
It’s interesting that how they made this movie is how they used to make movies before super special effects. All the work that went into it was very interesting.
Fun fact: The baby who played baby Buddy is actually a girl and not only that they used twin girls because originally they tried to use triplet boys but unfortunately the boys were too fussy so they decided to go with twin girls since they were easier to work with!
Will is far more softly spoken, regular and humble (not the typical Hollywood type) than I expected him to be...which I found kinda surprising. Not because I thought he’d be nasty or anything, it’s just that he’s such a huge star and a comedy/pop culture icon, it’s hard to think he’d remain such a nice dude. Yay Will, good human-ing. 👍
I didn't watch Elf when it first came out in 2003 because I thought it would be stupid. I watched for the first time last night and now it's my favorite holiday movie. ☺
I didn't realize Jon Favreau directed this movie until I saw this clip. Will was great in this movie. My favorite line is when he says, "is it made with sugar? Then, YES!". Makes me laugh everytime.
The Best and Most Hilarious Movie ever made, I Love Elf so much!!!!!!!!!! Will Ferrell, please make an Elf 2, you're the best Actor and I along with the whole World would love an Elf 2, you played Buddy the Elf Amazing and are the best Actor ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@BlackDiamond2718 First off, you see gum on the streets leave it there. It's not free candy. If you see a sign that says: "Peep Show," that doesn't mean that you're getting a chance to see presents before Christmas. There are like 30 Ray's Pizzas. They all claim to be the original, but the real one is on 11th."
Fun fact: they were originally going to make a sequel to Elf, but the actor who played Buddy said that he didn’t want to eat anymore spaghetti with syrup covered in sprinkles
They didnt know at the time, they were making a classic Christmas movie. Everyone watches Elf during Christmas, even the person about to type "I don't" below.
It’s June 2024 but I don’t care! When it’s summertime, the holidays aren’t too far away. I admit from someone who was 10 when Elf came out, Will’s manchild characterization as Buddy maybe over the top at times. But it’s the messages of finding where you belong and the spirit of Christmas that makes Elf not too shabby of a holiday movie. I’m 31 now and Elf made me a fan of Will!
