What a lovely project only thing missing is some sheet music on the stand. I think a lot of us had a go at our craft rooms after watching Ara, I know I did. 😂

Grand piano Penny! I love the way you used the spindles upside down for the legs as well as your support solution for the wavy side of the piano. Your craft shelving looks super organised, kudos to your handyman. It saves a lot of time looking for things when you have them organised and labelled, speaking from experience of course😉.

Wow!! Love this piano. I need to get back to making my minis. Been so hectic since before Christmas here, so now time for me again. You do such beautiful work Penny and have inspired me to get back to work. Thankyou for your inspiration.

Hello Penny. Thank you so much for such a beautiful baby grand. Of all the mini things I’m constantly looking out for, one is a typewriter, the other a piano. I believed both were too intricate and advanced for my skills. I did manage to find a 1:12th piano and bought it, but when it arrived it was so clumsy and out of scale I consigned it to the useless drawer. I remarked to my friend that the only thing it was good for was the printed keyboard. Anyhoo, long story short, I now have the wherewithal, thanks to your video, of making the piano. Any chance of a typewriter tutorial? Cheers Penny, you are an inspiration ❤

Hi Linda! Thank you so much for the comments! The piano was a ton of fun to make. Hmmm, a typewriter hey? 🤔 I love a good challenge!

Your new storage space is amazing! Wow! And the piano … I always watch your create with my jaw dropping! You are soooo talented! And your presentation is so precise, thorough and yet, very calm -a viewer’s dream! If you’ve mentioned it before and I missed it - I’m sorry! I’m curious as to background you have - drafting? Architectural planning! Woodworking? Carpentry? Something else? I ask because you just so darn good and I’m curious as to what has contribute to your incredible skills! Thanks much! Kathleen

Thank you so much Kathleen, you are always so kind! I’m so happy you like the videos. As far as my background, I don’t have any special education. My working career is in the finance industry, which can be pretty stressful, and I have used crafting as a way to decompress and de-stress from that. I think I have dabbled in almost every craft you can think of (scrapbooking, card making, quilting, painting) and I try to do something creative every day. I have always been fascinated by miniatures but I only really started making them a little over 3 years ago. (During the pandemic, Canada had some pretty strict restrictions so I had lots of time on my hands) I watched hours and hours of RU-vid videos from people like Julie Warren and Kat from A Square to Spare. My earlier pieces were pretty rough, but the more I did it, the more I learned. I still watch tons of other creators and am always learning something new. So now here I am! Lol

@@littlebylittledollhouseminis thanks so much for answering my question! It’s so impressive how skilled you are after having started this particular crafting-artistic journey only 3 years ago! Amazing! Thanks again! Enjoy the week! Kathleen

Hi Penny. You said you should invest in a pasta maker.. My daughter got me me a second hand one off FB market place. She was really lucky (my luck as well) and got one brand new in the box. this. Is only going to be used for my dollhouse stuff and clay right

That’s fantastic! The day after the video launched I went to Michaels for card stock. I wandered the Polymer clay aisle as I always do and what was sitting there on the shelf?! That’s right, a Craft Smart pasta maker! They typically sell for $50 - $60 here but this one was only $39.99. After my 40% off coupon it only cost me $24. Smokin’ deal! And yes, it will sit in my craft room and will only be used for polymer clay, lol. Now, if I could find such a deal on a toaster oven….
