This is the final video in the Homestead series. What a labour of love it has been! I want to tell you how grateful I am for all for all the support, kindness and love you have shown through out this past year. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!

I am not surprised you received "kindness" from viewers............your kindness and compassion and wonderfully related memories deserve nothing less. The build was wonderful - full of innovative and inspiring ideas - but the "presentation" and your presence put the series over the top. Thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge and of yourself............ I forgot to mention - after watching you and another creator build so substantially with foam core, I am emboldened to attempt to replace a recently "lost" plywood doll's house (also a replica of a childhood home) with foam core........though I am unsure if I can get all 5 stories to be steady enough!

Thank you so much George, you are one of those kind viewers I was talking about🥹. Best of luck with your build. I would love to see pictures one day!❤️❤️❤️

Hi Penny. Thank you for sharing your homestead house build and your family’s history with your viewers! You are an excellent teacher and an engaging story teller. My grandparents also lived in a rural area in a house without electricity or water, not in Canada but in the Ouachita mountains in Arkansas. The house was heated with wood stoves. Their drinking water came from a mountain spring, and food was kept cold in the spring. The mountain creek provided water for bathing, washing clothes, and a cold swim on hot summer days. I’m lots older than you, so my mother grew up in that house in the 1920s and 1930s. My sisters and I played there on summer and holiday vacations. Hearing you tell of being afraid to collect eggs reminded me of gathering eggs as a girl. I’m so glad I happened to see your RU-vid videos. I’ve really enjoyed them and look forward to seeing more. Jorie

Thank you so much Jorie, and for sharing a bit of your family with me! It’s amazing to me that they had so little, and so few amenities back then but still managed to have a good (all be it hard) life! My grandma never complained, and was always just grateful for what she had. ❤️

Thank you, Penny, for sharing your experience and skill with us. I didn't have the homestead experience but do have grandparent memories that are dear to me. I have learned so much from you! And look forward to your future projects.❤

For the longest time, I've wanted to recreate my grandparents' house and have been collecting pieces for a couple of years. Then, recently, I discovered your channel and watched you bring your grandmother's house to life. You have been such an inspiration! Thank you so very much! ❤

I have so loved your videos. They’ve brought so many wonderful memories of my grandparents and the farm. Once I get over this cat act surgery healed up, I so hope to start my grandparents home. I so remember playing in the original home which was a Soddy that later became my Uncle Dave’s blacksmiths area, storage Amy my grand dads garage for his Model T. As I sit and let the memories surface I remember so much more. My sister and brother unfortunately do not share all the memories as we moved when my sister was 5 brother not born till I was 13. Have been going through old photos for more ideas. I want to say a big Thankyou for your hard work in your recreation. I have loved every moment of watching and rewatching them. You are an inspiration to all of us. Hugs Miss Penny!

Oh my goodness Sheila, thank you so much. It is comments like this that make it all worth while! I started this project with a dozen 50 year old memories, and a handful of pictures. The further I got, the more the memories flowed. I wish you all the best with your build and would love to see pictures one day!❤️

I can't believe it's finished. It's so sweet to hear you talk about memories at the homestead. Our homestead is still in the family but unfortunately due to things that happen in families I'm not allowed to visit anymore. Watching you build your house brought back so many memories. It's been an honor to go along with you on this journey. I'm excited to watch you build something more modern. Your techniques are so helpful plus you are very calming. I'm so glad I found your channel :)
@littlebylittledollhouseminis
Hi Wherefore, and thank you for you kind comment. I’m so happy to hear that you liked the build, and were able to experience your own memory walk. This project was a real labour of love for me. While I’m sad to see it end, I am excited for the next project. Thank you for joining me!❤️

Congratulations Penny, on the completion of your project. No doubt you will add bits and pieces as more memories are triggered. It is so true that one memory sparks another and I applaud you you keeping your family history alive through your creation. Thank you for taking us along on the journey down memory lane. Here we call those field stones, ‘paddock stones’ and the saying here goes that ones that appear next time the ground is cleared are called ‘floaters’ as they seem to rise from the ground haha. Enjoy the shopping and greetings from down under👏
@littlebylittledollhouseminis
Thank you so much Coby! I have appreciated all your kind and wonderful comments, as well as your knowledge, throughout this project. I will always remember what a skillion roof is! PS, I haven’t forgotten about the Chimney pipe! 😂

Thank you for this first project and sharing your family history with us. It was really helpful seeing someone new who had different ways of doing things. I'm so glad you are going to do another project soon. I look forward to it. I may try static grass now that I have seen a rank beginner do it and have good results. Yet another gain from your work. Thanks again.
@littlebylittledollhouseminis
Thank you so much Mary Kay, I appreciate that a lot! I admit I was a little intimidated by the static grass but was so much easier than I thought it was going to be. I’m a little sad to see this project come to an end but equally excited to start a new. Take care!❤️
