My favorite part of this build is the realism of those little magnet catches. Totally adorable.

I've been doing dioramas for a little while but I love your tutorials. No weird music and not a ton of needless banter. Clear instructions!! ❤❤❤❤ Awesome job.

Thank you Anita! There was a time when I thought I might add the music (since most others use it) but have since realized that most don’t enjoy it as much as I thought they did!😆 Thank you for watching! 💚

You are so precise with glue. I go nuts when I watch some of these shows where the personloads the glue on. You might mention that more glue isn't better. The amount you use is perfect! You really give a good demo with precise markings. I am in Washington state and I am coming around to understanding the metric system. You either learn it, or you struggle to keep up with the world. You don't go off subject, get silly, and you are so easy to understand. That my friend is why I subscribed.

Thank you so much! Glue is my nemesis really, and it took a long time to get it right 😁. Ahh, the dreaded metric system. Metric came to Canada when I was finishing high school so I tend to use both systems. For example, I use metric to measure most distances, but still use feet and inches when talking about someone’s height. When it comes to miniatures, I find 14 millimeter’s far less confusing than 35/64ths of an inch.😂 Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. I appreciate your support!💚

Fabulous as always, thank you Penny. An ingenious way with the hinges too, such a refreshing change from those pesky pin hinges ❤

Hello Penny, I've been waiting all day so I could watch this, and you didn't disappoint. It's a beautiful piece, and every step so clearly explained. Thank you very much. I know my friend and neighbour will be viewing too. x

Hello Trish! Thank you! I was properly scolded by your friend and neighbour, while asleep, for being late this morning! I do apologize! I did set the time for 2:00AM my time but I think RU-vid was also asleep! Our friend shared a picture of your bird nest on your chimney! It is quite marvellous. Well done you!! I’m happy you like the video and I’m looking forward to meeting you both one day soon!

@@littlebylittledollhouseminis Oh no! You got up at 2am, that's awful, and I'd no idea Linda had sent you a pic of my bird's nest!! I am mortified as it's certainly not too scale. More the size for an albatross I think! Linda is becoming a real slave driver. Can't believe she ticked you off. Just wait until I speak to her...... Thank you again.

@@patricialavender2902 No no! I did not get up at 2:00 am. RU-vid allows you to choose a date and time for when your video goes live, so I only needed to enter that information in. Not that it did me a lot of good since it didn’t actually go live for another hour and a half. I LOVE the bird nest, and found it perfectly in scale! And no, she most certainly did not tick me off, haha. I have become quite accustomed to her particular brand of humour! 😂

@@littlebylittledollhouseminis So glad you didn't take it seriously (didn't think you would). It's the particular or peculiar British sense of humour. Not everyone gets it! Thanks again, and it would be lovely to meet you one day.

Nice job Penny. Those cloth hinges are so much easier than brass ones or even pin hinges and no one will ever know😉 Also thanks for the tip about marking where the magnet goes, a tried and tested carpenter’s tip perhaps?
@littlebylittledollhouseminis
@littlebylittledollhouseminis 2 месяца назад
Thanks Coby, I did have some success with those brass hinges when I was hanging the doors in the Homestead House. Other than that, I have a hard time finding a use for them. The cloth may not be realistic, but sometimes miniatures are all about the illusion. Thanks for watching and for always leaving such nice comments! 💚

Where do you buy the plywood at
@littlebylittledollhouseminis
@littlebylittledollhouseminis 2 месяца назад
Here in Canada it is almost impossible to source the craft plywood so for a while I was ordering it from the UK. Luckily I live only a couple of ours from the USA border so I take trip every year or two to the states. There are likely quite a few options in the USA but I buy it from Hobby Lobby.
